Interest in Thomas Robinson?

"After opting out of his contract with the Nets last month, Thomas Robinson has drawn interest from the Pacers, Suns, and Hawks, league sources tell Amico. Robinson’s player option for 2016/17 was worth the minimum, so if he can land a guaranteed offer, it won’t have been a mistake to turn down that option."

Low risk, high reward IMO. Wouldn't mind giving him a chance and see what McMillan and a vet such as Al Jefferson can do to help a guy like Robinson. He has the build and size.

Some players just take longer to develop then others, for many different reasons. Just look at Hassan Whiteside. Guy was nearly out of the NBA until the Heat called him a second time and now he's considered a super star.

Pacers are at 16 players right now. Im guessing Shayne Whittington is getting waived befoe August 1st to make a roster spot for Brooks. Wonder who would get the boot if they were to bring in Robinson? Christmas?

Thomas Robinson is a good per minute value guy, and appears to be still far below his ceiling. Would like to have him in Indiana, but it would be hard to determine who will get cut. I am thinking Christmas, but he is kind of similar to Thomas Robinson. I think GR III is a lock to make the team. We are thin at the SG spot with only undersized 2's in Ellis, Stuckey, and sometimes Young in the rotation. GR III can somehow play both wing spots.

TRob filled in for Thad quite nicely late last season as he notched 5-6 consecutive double-doubles. When he plays he produces. I hope we sign him.

He'd be the strongest rebound rate person on the team.

I'd say he sucks offensively but he has enough talent so I don't mind we try him out to fill some final roster spots.

Robinson is basically a talented Christmas, so it kinda looks that way.
Though Jeremy Evans too better make sure his voicemail box isn't full lol
