Bleh just let CB come back I guess, I don't want to see this get messy. Who knows, it could all work out. I still think the CB/Hassan frontcout has potential, it looked really good the year before last for like 10 games or so before the ASB, this past season it just wasn't working as well because CB wasn't hitting his 3's as consistently.

If CB comes back and plays like he's capable of, and him and Hassan can mesh, I think this is a 50 win team. That's a massive if though.

The problem is, you can't play fast when they both on the floor. Tough year for Eric

Lol @ people trying to bulldoze him into retirement

The team made their bed, sleep in it...we win 35 instead of 28 games.

Bosh is just not in a position risk it all by playing - He already got the money, the numbers, the championships. Not worth risking his life. I think he'll understand this in the final moment of truth.

If for some reason and someway he does come back, everything is possible. We can't know if he'll be tradable after proving healthy for a year, we don't know how he'll fit, raises a lot of big questions.

Bosh coming back = huge joker enters the deck - it might be a blessing, might be a curse and might be neutral.

I don't think Bosh is irrational enough to risk his life, I'd like to hear what he's got to say on the matter and why he's confident in his ability... And what it is that he actually wants to do? 1 or 2, 4 or 5 more years?

I just want to know why and hear it from the Reptilians mouth

Tough situation. If majority of top doctors are saying not to play again, there would be not much to fight from bosh's position.

Either your core can compete or it can't, word to the Magics for being an everlasting example

Compete or tank

Okay, so you support the core idea of my thoughts (compete or tank, as you summed up), by being obnoxious about how I present them? Would you have preferred a histogram? Or perhaps a look at the relative games played, or play-off experience? How about the RPM, WARP or any other advanced stat? Any way it's presented, we get to the same result.

Also, why the Babbitt hate?

not seeing the big problem. If he's not taking any medication they have to let him play.

Cause he's the highest paid player on the team who get's a clot halfway through the season. That's a franchise killer

There is always the possibility that it was an unlucky occurrence. If he's had he gene testing & it came up negative, then it could end up being a result of the combined circumstances (impact injury, flights, etc). Maybe he can play and be 100% with no impact on his preparation. If that's possible then he could become a trade chip.

If it happens again then it happens, you take the loss and move on.

Yeah, I'd just say it was unlucky since he doesn't have the recurring blood clot gene.

Some outside factors (maybe a leg injury) + bad luck caused it. Or maybe he needs to be tested for the gene again. Idk

Blood clots in back-to-back years, in the exact same month, at the exact same point of the season, after doctors diagnosed you as not carrying the hereditary gene that makes one prone to a recurrence isn't unlucky... it's a pattern.

It would be a pattern if he HAD the gene.

It's a pattern when it happens twice in the span of 365 days... after doctors tell you it shouldn't happen a second time.

If he plays he should be tested after every flight, game, & even after every few days just in case. It sounds like a lot of trouble but in the end it will be worth it.
