When it comes to voting time, just remember the Basketball "Watson" wanted the guy that I picked.

Lamars Robinson pick makes me feel a little better about my Wilt fiasco.

Lamar must be having a grand time in rafting trip that he wasn't able to take note of the drafted players.

Since I have LeBron James on my team, I feel the need to add a dynamic scorer that can thrive in a low usage role. I especially want to add some spacing to help keep the lane open for LeBron, without totally punting on defense. I have decided to use my closer pick to select the man that was the embodiment of the modern NBA before his time. In 2003-04, this man shot 43.4% from three on 6.8 attempts per game while shooting 92.7% from the FT line on 5.2 attempts per game. He averaged 24.2 ppg at a hyper efficient 62.4% TS and grabbed 6.3 boards per game. Most importantly, he is one of only three players in NBA history to average at least 24 ppg or more with a usage rate of at or below 24%.

I select Peja Stojakovic's 2003-04 season.

that's a nice pickup. Him and lebron would be an insane duo. I honestly thought you might go young Wade.

Karl "The Mailman" Malone - Stop Shooting - 1996-97

It was damn tempting to take Kareem here, but what fun would it be to put Magic and Kareem back together again? These drafts are about creating something new. So I shall pass on Kareem and go with one of the greatest fast break finishers in NBA history, to pair with the greatest passer in NBA history, giving Team Fat the foundation for a lethal run and gun attack. Karl, is also one of the best passing bigs in the history of the league and will fit perfectly in a modern passing offense.

1996-97 Karl Malone - in that year Karl was the NBA MVP, 1st team All-NBA, 1st team all defense. Hard to have a better season than that outside of winning that elusive ring.

27.4ppg
9.9rpg
4.5apg
1.4spg
28.9PER
60.0% TS

Peja Stojakovic drafted before Kareem, and it kinda makes sense. What is the world coming to?

That was my exact thought when I decided to go with that pick. Just too good of a fit to let it go.

I'm a little worried about who is going to be left for pick 3 though.

That's wonderful. Great pickup. Really nice fit. Thought he was gonna slide more do to name. Fitting needs with great years makes that such a plus

Random Malone fact I found out earlier today. He should have never played in the NBA due to statutory rape.

Didn't mean to take a dark turn here.

Yeah, Malone is a scumbag from his days in college as well as his treatment of his daughter and other stories like hitting on Kobe's wife. Magic and Malone will have fun throwing orgies.

didn't think it was going to get to me so quick. lucky i checked before going on a 4 hour drive.

I don't think I can pass up Kareem and will burn my All NBA pick for him.

I will go with the 78-79 season when he was a spritely 31 years old averaging 23.8 pts,12.8 bds, 5.8 assists, 4 blocks.

its amazing that he continued to start for a further 11 years after this, such longevity and greatness.

Bird and Kareem make quite a fierce, dynamic duo.

I always knew he was a terrible father. Refused to see his kids.

Had no idea he impreganted a 13 year old and the family didn't press charges because they knew he'd be in the NBA soon and thought he'd take care of his kid. Which he obviously did not.
