something I thought of now was that it also doesn't make sense from the perspective of "The Other 48 Days", which is, perhaps, one of my top5 favorite episodes/storylines of the show. the bad luck the people from the other half of the plane got. it simply ended in Libby (okay, a person beloved by Hugo.. her being taken away from him served a part in the series), Eko joining the main gang and the three sailors (Sawyer, Lin and Michael) returning back.

seems like a whole lot of filler if in the end none of the other part of the plane stick around for longer than the second season. that changes if Eko is a major character throughout the next seasons.

Spoiler:
Smokey randomly got pissed off at him one episode and shred him apart, right?

Yep. Didn't make sense at all because that was the second time he had an encounter and he "passed" or whatever the first time.

Fats, have you caught up with the latest season yet? It's the best one of the series so far.

Do you like hot chicks?
Do you like awesome fight scenes?
Do you like over the top violence?
Do you like shows about getting revenge, vengeance, getting even against the rich/elite?
Do you like unseen plot twists, cliffhangers and political backstabbing?
Do you like beautifully written dialogue with old Latin influences that are spoken like poetry?
Do you like cheesy special effects?

If you said yes to most of those things, then you'll love Spartacus. It takes a few episodes to get used to the way they talk (which is one of my favorite things about the show) and to get used to some of the low budget green screen effects (its not like they had the HBO budget of Game of Thrones to work with - if they did, holy crap). Its the greatest (well, almost greatest) **** you revenge story ever written. It's a lot more than just bloody gladiator fighting and roman orgies. The story lines are amazing. Every time you think you've figured out who the most awful, vile, evil person on the show is, they introduce someone even worse and then you watch patiently waiting/hoping for that evil person to get what's coming to them. They throw a lot of unexpected plot twists at you that really keep you guessing. Spoiler Alert: Of course the main plot can be figured out by reading wikipedia, since its based on historical events. LOL.

Sadly the main character who plays Spartacus in season 1 got cancer during filming. They had to halt filming while he was getting treatment. Season 2 is a 6 episode prequel that shows the few years before Spartacus became a gladiator and its just as fantastic as the rest of the series. The actor playing Spartacus died during season 2, but he wanted the show to continue to be made. They replaced him with a different actor for season 3 and 4. Both actors are great in the role, although I think the first one is a little better.

Episode 1 of season 1 is shot mostly as a flashback, so the cinematography in that first episode is super cheesy. I bet a lot of people watched that first episode and gave up. Don't give up. Its not all like that.

Yup, I am 100% caught up on Americans. It really is fantastic. I binged watched all the seasons in about 2 months time. Now I am sad I went that fast. It reminds me so much of my childhood, as does Stranger Things, both set in the early 80s.

On the subject of over the top violence, I LOVE me some Daredevil on Netflix. Really enjoyed both seasons, highly recommended.

YES YES YES.

Both seasons were great.

Cannot wait for The Punisher and Luke Cage series.

I like Jessica Jones, but the best part of the first season was Killgrave. So not sure what to think of S2

I need to get back on Mr Robot. I've watched about half of season 1. It just got put to the side for some other shows that grabbed me quicker.

Anyone watch Man In The High Castle on Amazon? I've been thinking about trying it, but haven't heard much about it.

Yeah I made a mistake after season 2.

I watched the first two seasons live and enjoyed it. Life got a little hectic around season 3 start and it slowly piled up on my DVR. Finally went and binge watched 3 and 4 after the Finals to catch up. Can't wait for season 5.

Wait is The Punisher going to be a separate series? Didn't realize that, thought they were just going to tie the two together in Daredevil.

Going to have a standalone series as well. I would assume prequel to Daredevil for the first season but I have no idea.

Did you also have a spank/stash box like Henry while growing up? I'm just kidding.

I didn't know you started watching The Americans since the beginning. I've been watching this show since Day 1 and I'm really glad and proud that the Emmys finally gave some recognition to this criminally underrated series.

I saw it earlier this year and I liked it. Have you read the book? Based from what I gathered on social media, some people who read the book weren't happy with the TV adaptation.

July 25, 2016 - the day everyone decided to start talking about TV shows. Time for the summer to hurry up and end.

HA! I'm so **** bored. Its too hot to go outside and no sports on TV unless you like baseball. Amazing how much TV you can watch when you are a hermit that isn't spending time watching a million NBA and soccer games every night.

Well, as a matter of fact... When I was like 10, some older kids had left a mag in the woods. Us younger kids in the neighborhood found it and ripped out some pages and ran back home. I hid mine in a shoebox in my closet. My nosey ass mom found those pages in like 3 days and I got yelled at.

I want to echo everything fats said about Spartacus. Such a fantastic show from top to bottom. Everything about it. The acting, the beyond sexy women, the historical references. The only bad part is the original Spartacus dying after season 1.

Spartacus and Jeremy Clarkson Top Gear are far and away my two favorite shows of all time

Winona Ryder doesn't some kind of award for her performances in Stranger Things. She's on FIRE!!! I've watched the first 5 episodes so far, 3 more to go.

I've about given up on Wayward Pines. I've been struggling thru season 2 so far. Only made it thru the first 3 or 4.

Stranger Things is some kinda weird throwback it feels like if 80s steven spielberg made a horror movie. now if only kid with the lisp had teeth it would be perfect. yea Wayward Pines is lost with out the deeper mystery I just dont feel the connection to the show.
