You also don't seem to know what people wore in the 70s....

Not really because I was only born in 1992, only a couple years before Towns, Wiggins, Lavine, and Dunn
I want to move back to Minnesota, I miss it sooooo much!

Damn. I'd recommend to KAT Klomp's services as an agent right about now.

The most impressive thing about his shot blocking is that he's rarely out of position after the block to concede the easy bucket. Or that he'd prefer to send into the 5th row rather than trying to keep the ball alive. That's a fantastic sight.

That's cute but IMO winning will be the determining factor. If we keep sucking Karl probably bolts and even if we do well it's not a guarantee he stays.
"I love it here, man. I love my teammates, I love the city, I don't really think about anywhere else," Durant said in the interview. "I hear it all the time, don't get me wrong, and once you hear it you're kind of like [looks up, thinking]. But for me, I love staying in the moment, and I'm one of those guys that would love to stick it out with one team my whole career."

Well, Durant has exposed himself as a beeotch. Towns is likely made of sterner stuff. :)

It's very nice to read. Put a big smile on my face! Especially after years and years of having players that are not afraid to claim they don't want to be here and want to leave as soon as they possibly can.

But Durant said the same stuff. Rondo said the same thing with Boston. Rose did too with the Bulls. I'm sure Wade did too with Miami at one point.

Also gotta realize KAT is 20. How long is he going to be in the league? 10-20 years is a long time. He may be in the league a longer period of time from when he was born to when he graduated high school. Things change, teams change, coaches change, players change, ownership changes. A team someone loves playing for today, 8 years later that same team he may not want to play for. Look at what Rose said in 2011 http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bulls/post/_/id/6375/rose-wants-to-spend-entire-career-in-chicago Look what happened with Chicago and their front office and how they've changed their team for the worse since then, rather then the better. Like the falling out they had with Thibs.

And if KAT pans out and becomes the superstar we think he has the potential to become, hes going to want a ring. Easy to say when your 20 that you hate superteams and would rather beat the players rather then join them. When your 27 like Durant thats a completely different story, especially when the team he was on lost key players like Harden and Ibaka that made it siginificantly more harder to win it all.

Would love for KAT to spend his whole career in Minnesota, but it's not likely. Wade, Rose, Rondo, were all players people thought would spend their whole career with one team.

I'll hope for the best, and stay optimistic! and hope he can someday bring a championship to Minnesota!
I want to move back to Minnesota, I miss it sooooo much!

Rose and Rondo were traded. They didn't leave in free agency.

I won't focus or fixate on whether or not he'll spend his whole career here.

I'll sit back, enjoy and savor the time while hes here, and appreciate everything he did for us during his rookie season and since we drafted him, and everything he will do for us in the future, and hope he plays his heart and soul out for us and the best possible basketball hes capable of during the time that hes here. And enjoy the fact, that so far at least, hes been nothing but a pure class act the time that he has been here.

You're right, and since Durant left, I guess that guarantees that Towns will do the same. Might as well trade him now while we can still get max value for him, right?

I swear Towns and Jim Pete read RealGM. I said the best way to fast track yourself into Minnesota sports greatness is to talk about how much you love it here. We eat that ish up. Towns is gonna be on that Frank Underwood level of media dexterity.

Professionals are regular people too. I find it very hard they never google themself or anything. Especially in this day and age with everyone having smartphones.
