I don't think I can pass up Kareem and will burn my All NBA pick for him.

I will go with the 78-79 season when he was a spritely 31 years old averaging 23.8 pts,12.8 bds, 5.8 assists, 4 blocks.

its amazing that he continued to start for a further 11 years after this, such longevity and greatness.

Bird and Kareem make quite a fierce, dynamic duo.

I like my team. Hopefully the next couple of picks fall in the way I want them and they combine fit and talent. But I just don't see myself competing with some of these teams that have been put together so far.

I mean a Bird Kareem combo where you could pick whatever year you wanted essentially is phenomenal.

I really had a hard time deciding on my second pick since Pippen and Malone are now off the board.

For the Stone Hands category, I select Jason Kidd, 2000-01.

I want to pair MJ with someone who has no problem giving up the ball and can play defense. 2000-01 wasn't Kidd's best year in Phoenix but he still logged 16.9 ppg, 9.8 apg, 6.4 rpg. Kidd didn't have the luxury of playing alongside a Hall of Fame player for the most part of his career. If he had a dominant teammate to play with — and someone of MJ's caliber at that — I believe he would have accomplished greater things.

This is the only video proving that Uwe Blab existed.

well this dude mentions him at least

I like the fact that the video has a comment made by me which is already four years old:
"I keep coming back to hear Harlan scream so often. It really is classic."

yeah... I have watched that video a few times. as you already know, I enjoy the obscure 7-footer just as much as my brethren Sachmo/Diop. loved reading the discussions you guys were having and I'm sad that I missed out on them, haha.

This pick was easily the toughest for me to make. I literally typed up a write up for the other player before ultimately deciding on this pick.

Dirk Nowitzki - All NBA - 2006-2007

His MVP season. Put up 24.6, 8.9, 3.4 while shooting 50/41.6/90.
