Well, I got Bill Walton from the thinniest category, keep my All NBA, and pervent someone to take him in his prime years. It feels good.

I just need another defender. Garnett/Howard should be tough to score on I know a lot of teams have insane big men.

Re: 2016 Scavenger Hunt Draft (Lamar's pick)
I cleaned up the 1st page to make it easier to follow all the picks. Rather than me posting the picks in the thread, I will post them in the first post on page 1. I moved the rules to the 2nd post on page 1. Now the 1st post on page 1 is Picks By Round, followed by Picks by Team.
Now instead of editing 3 posts, the mods just have to edit 1 post with 3 updates - the thread title, the picks by round and picks by team.

I am about 95% sure I know Lamar's next pick. I'm not saying who or what category, but I'll let you know when he picks If I guessed correctly.

I kinda regret picking him with All-NBA after seeing the teams that you guys are building.

I'd love to trade my All-NBA pick for your Jordan in a heartbeat.

Stockton was the guy I almost went with instead of Dirk. Great two way player but would still struggle guarding someone like a Westbrook.

Re: 2016 Scavenger Hunt Draft (Lamar's pick)
With my third pick in this Scavenger Hunt Draft I select.......
Rookie Grant Hill - 19.9PPG, 6.4RPG, 5.0APG, 1.8SPG, 0.9BPG, All-Star Selection, ROY.
As a guy who played four years at Duke, Hill pretty much was at the peak of his NBA career starting with his rookie year. His injuries later on prevented him from becoming a top50 player. However, his first six seasons of 21-8-6, losses in the first round and then joining Orlando to play with T-Mac is something you can safely call a lite version of LeBron's start to his career. Does he ever get to what LeBron achieved? Most likely not. But Grant was freakishly good in Detroit and I'm glad to add that guy to the already established passing skills of my team. Because at that point he would have seemed to be a lock to go down as one of the best small forwards ever.
PG:
SG: Grant Hill 1994-95 - 19.9PPG, 6.4RPG, 5.0APG, 1.8SPG, 0.9BPG, All-Star, ROY.
SF: Chris Mullin 1989-90 - 25.1PPG, 5.9RPG, 4.1APG, 1.6SPG, .372 3P%, All-NBA 3rd.
PF:
C: Hakeem Olajuwon 1989-90 - 24.3PPG, 14.0RPG, 2.9APG, 2.1SPG, 4.6BPG, All-Defense 1st, All-NBA 2nd.
Bench:

I have to warn you though. From what you can read about Walton in The Breaks of the Game (how depressed and in pain he was at San Diego) and see in his game logs, I'd be scared about taking this 33-game season of Walton.
I have watched him play in his San Diego days. He was still really good and could play up to what could be like 80% or 85% of his Portland MVP potential. That's still a player you want on your team. 85% of Bill Walton is a damn good player. The problem is that he probably couldn't fall asleep later that night after giving you 20/12/5 and defense and would miss the next two games because of his feet.
Greg Kelser, a teammate of his at San Diego, can probably characterize the Clippers' Walton the best:

just to check, does this mean they have to be at least 6'10??

1 of only 5 guys to have 4 straight year of 20/7/6.
Bird. Havlicek. LeBron. Big O. And Grant Hill.
Hell of a pick Lamar. He's so good that if he dropped I was contemplating him with my All NBA.

Re: 2016 Scavenger Hunt Draft (Lamar's pick)
With my third pick, I'm going to use my Stop Shooting pick to continue to help LeBron by selecting another shooter that has to be respected on the perimeter, a playmaker who doesn't have to dominate the ball, a respectable defender with solid size for his position, and a consummate competitor who will not shy away from hitting big shots.
I'll be going with Reggie Miller's 1995-96 season - 21.1 pts, 47.3% FG, 41.0% 3PT on 5.4 attempts, 62.5% TS, 3.3 ast, 2.8 bds, 1.0 stl
PG:
SG: Reggie Miller - Stop Shooting
SF: Peja Stojakovic - Closer
PF: LeBron James - All NBA

Really like how you picked a stud and are just building around him instead of compiling talent.
But FUDGE REGGIE MILLER.
