just for kicks and worst case bosh retires

pg: westbrook/udrih/weber
sg: johnson/ellington/mcgruder
sf: waiters/johnson/babbitt
pf: winslow/williams/haslem
c: whiteside/reed

we can then lock up WB to a multi year and have cap space to go after BG in 2017

best play is to wait WB out till the summer, where you can get a separate package for Dragic that might include picks and hold on to J-Rich

Matching the poison pill on Tyler, probably makes Rich more of an asset(Probably the line of thinking to begin with). With the moves made recently, I don't think the FO is really prioritizing the rooks at all... Everything would lead me to believe that they're whale bait... It's actually the only context where these moves make sense. At the latest opportunity, I think the youth movement takes a hit and Rich w/o a doubt is first in line

I don't see Riley headlining a tank with three max contracts and a poison pill...

I am a little worried, but I remember what we had at the start of the season in 14.. Williams, granger, brown, ennis, dawkins, Hamilton. By the trade deadline we had Beasley, dragic, dragic and whiteside. There was a method to Pats madness

Justin Hamilton makes more than Waiters. This deal isn't bad.

I guess those teams aren't tanking. Didn't offer him anything.

Think about that - OKC are trying to win this year, they can't replace Waiters, yet they still preferred to let him walk for nothing.

Hamilton brings high character, and he doesn't take minutes from TJ/Rich/Justise.

Better believe this new team is going to get out and run. If they can finish and hit 3s they might actually be fun to watch.

Predict the minutes Spo will give these players (averages per game) :

Dragic =
Waiters =
Ellington =
TJ =
Rich =
Justise =
Weber =

If Justise plays PF, JRich Sf, and TJ Pg he doesn't take minutes from anyone. Lol

It's theoretically possible.

Replaced him with unproven rookie from Spain.

We already have TJ/Rich here, they already showed they're better then him. Yet we brought Waiters in and OKC dumped him.

Sure. You can play every promising young player on the team out of their natural position, damage their long term development, and all in order to accommodate Dion "bust" Waiters. Who will leave if he plays well, and stay if he sucks (player option next year).

Great plan.
