Westbrook-Wade-Ellington-Bosh-Whiteside

Like I don't even get it. We should have just traded McRoberts to clear room for Wade's contract and then did the trade for Westbrook IF that's the plan. Now we'll trade for him but won't have enough for another max player.

I'm not buying that we're trading youth for Westbrook when we can just sign him next offseason. You don't think they tried to trade garbage ass Josh McRoberts? Teams were asking for Josh, Justise, or picks to be attached. Still wouldn't have done it, we're already limited in assets as it is.

Nope, I don't. But whatever, let's see what the actual "plan" is. It'll be revealed, if there is one, and if its good or bad, soon enough.

Riley was at the end of the season press conference talking out of his ass about Josh trying to build his trade value, he's useless. There were reports that they were too, a little after free agency started. If the cost to move him was to have J-Rich, Justise, or any more first round picks attached to him then I wouldn't have done it either.

He will add a great dimension for us at the off-guard spot. I really like the depth and versatility that we now have in our perimeter positions. Welcome aboard Dion!”

• Last summer Micky stepped in, came over the top, and paid Wade because he wanted to keep him in a HEAT uniform.

• This summer Micky had the exact same opportunity to pay Wade and keep him in a HEAT uniform... he chose not to.

• Micky then went on to pay Tyler, without batting an eye, to keep him in a HEAT uniform.

I will not be on the Pat Riley realgm messageboard with yall in 2030

14 years from now in the distance future yall will still be on here sub posting and lying to yourselves to justify every trash move Riley makes.
by then riley will be either retired or in the afterlife.yes i agree that some of his decisions havent been perfect in the past but he is the one who made the heat relevant since the mid 90's. i know that you are a wade fangirl and all but i think this was the best time to move in another direction because, again, wade cannot longer carry a team by himself.hell,he even had terrible games during the lebron, wade, dinodiva era.now its time to rebuilt and move forward to see if the heat can make a splash this year via trade or next's year in free agency.

look at it this way maybe tyler will come with more energy and desire to prove that he deserves to be a started.some players perform better when they dont feel the pressure of being a starter

This pretty much says why he came here, "they told me I will have the opportunity to start"...

If he outplays TJ in practice then I don't see why he can't. Hopefully TJ earns it without question.

With less than 80 career games TJ got 50mil, Crabbe got 80mil, 1good yr Cj McCollum 106mil. After two more seasons Richardson is gonna get at least 80mil. And if Richardson gets that much, Winslow is gonna want that much. Plus our 2017 rook is very likely gonna further crowd up that situation. Enjoy our youngins while we got em, cause Riles is breaking that band up before payday gets here. Heck they weren't even convinced Whiteside was worth that type of cheese til the last hour.

These backcourt moves tell me that Riley could be going whale hunting with Dragic+1 youngin(tj,winslow, JRich). I just hope that we pick the right one to give away and dont pull an OKC and trade a young "Hardin".

We added Dragic by trading away two 1st round picks. We don't have any picks to trade.

But we have young assets in the form of J-Rich, TJ and even Winslow if the trade requires it.

Three starters are set:
PG - Dragic
SF - Winslow
C - Whiteside

Camp battles:
SG - Richardson, Waiters, Johnson or Ellington
PF - Assuming Bosh is out, McRoberts vs Williams

Lots of expiring contracts sets up well for now until the trade deadline. Cap room for a max player next offseason is intriguing.

I still think our present roster can make the playoffs.

Yes! So happy he wont be coming back with us next season. Hated the signing last year and he was a bum for most of his time with us anyways.

And he had the nerve to say he wanted more playing time lol.

Other then that he had a great career with the Suns but injuries held him back from being a hall of famer. Peace out STAT.

The Waiters thing is so pointless not only because he's been a bad player, but because even if he suddenly sees the light and becomes good this year, we gain nothing from it - we'll just lose on the development of out long term young pieces that won't get enough playing time this year.

If Waiters has a good or even just average season - You can bet he's opting out for next year and some scrub desperate org like nets or Wizards will throw big money at him. Do you really us to throw big money at Dion **** Waiters next year? You want Waiters to be our Whale?

WE don't need any RENTELS this year, we have no business making desperate win now moves, everything should be planned for the long term, next year and beyond. Waiters is the opposite of it. (unless you think adding him is a tanking move, Which I can't rule out).

If he's having that great of a season he'll make a nice part of a trade bait package.

Calmate Rex. Too much stress= no bueno. We just gave TJ $50mill we aren't gonna give Dion who's making $2.9mill priority over him so just chill.

What were you watching when he started for us? He worked extremely hard to get his body ready last year then played exceptionally well when he had to fill in for Hassan. Spo for whatever reason completely stopped playing him, he was unplayable in that Toronto series though.
