Edit: Watched the whole video, didn't feel like our 3 players did anything that stood out. A lot of it was going through the offense and defense drills that the Spurs use as well as implementing their philosophies. Hopefully the kids have learned some of these philosophies because Luke will likely implement similar ones. Not sure if Randle maybe tweaked something, he didn't participate in the later parts of the drills and the scrimmage.

Ya well Purpose of the camp isn't to stand out. It's definitely getting back to the basics and fundamentals of "team" ball or the Spurs philosophies as you said.

But Ingram always stands out to me. That length and effortlessness of how he glides across the court is insane. He barely has to jump to dunk with that 7'3 wingspan. Guy has amazing physical gifts. He really looks like a Gazelle out there. I can't believe we got this kid.

I don't think he needs to gain a lot of weight either. He needs to stay at the weight he is most comfortable at, and just play off of his strengths. Durant is still skinny too, he didn't need to get big like LBJ to be successful.

Durant is listed at 240. He was 225 as a rookie. LeBron is listed at 250. Ingram is listed at 190. He will get bullied by everyone at that weight. I don't think the added weight will affect his game adversely. According to the below article, he started at 169lbs before Duke. I would prefer he be somewhere around 210.

Every great player is significantly different in one way or another. I think that Ingram will have an impact at any weight. Sure, he can gain some. He probably should and surely will.

Like magic being the greatest PG ever despite his height, or like Barkley at out-rebounding the world of big men at 6'5", or like Kobe being so rextremely competitive, or like Bill Russel's religious devotion to team play. Ingram's length transcends the game on both ends anyway, no matter weight. Maybe his defying those odds could be his very unique unicorn feature, who knows?

^^That DLo release, it's so damn quick. It's gonna make him so effective.

Deja Vu? :D I hope you're seeing more than just his release...

He's picked up some killer post moves too and is using them against maybe the best position players in the league.
I'm still not sure he can hold onto the ball playing PG in actual games, but his SG skills are pretty impressive all of a sudden...

Russell's so big too, it makes it more understandable to me now why he gets picked so much in traffic. But he looks like he's gotten better at that too...
I hope what we're seeing here translates to the season... It'll be fun to watch.
