Imagine your favorite NFL team doesn't exist and never did. Which of the other 31 teams do you think you would be a fan of?
Mine would probably be the Chiefs. Being from Utah I don't really have a geographical connection to any team, and I've always hated the Broncos even though they're the closest thing we've got. I also usually like to cheer for small market teams and underdogs, but I like teams with a solid, strong fan base who sticks with their team through thick and thin. I think the best fit for me, if I weren't a life long Carolina Panthers fan, would be the Chiefs.
Other than that? I could see myself being a Bills, Cardinals, or Bengals fan, each for different reasons.
If you weren't a fan of your team, what team would you be a fan of?

If not the Raiders, the Indianapolis Colts.

I always liked the Packers growing up. A popular team on television alot. I likely would have been a Packers fan, I guess. Or the Niners Sadly.

Probably the Bills as they are the closest team to where I currently live.
Thank god I'm originally from Indianapolis lol.

I'm 51.
I realized in my 40s that its silly to hate or dislike any team.
I like all teams and all players, unless they win too much and its fun to root against them lol-Patriots-
I grew up in Southern Cal so I'm a Rams fan. My dad was from Wisconsin, so I followed Packers.
I read a lot of Sports illustrated in Inside Sports in my teens and early 20s and learned to like all players and all teams through human interest stories.
I like sports uniform and helmet designs history. That means I'm interested in the entire history of sports. Following one team is boring.
Maybe I'd pick the Redskins, Bears or Eagles or Raiders if I started all over again.
lol but I already have picked those teams because I can pay attention to what ever I want, for what ever reason I feel like.
If the Cardinals were still in Chicago, that would have been cool with me!

Well my favorite team was the Chargers before the Cardinals moved to Phx, where I am from, so the Cards, by default would be my favorite team if I wasn't a Chargers fan. If I wasn't a fan of either team, it's tough, because I have bias against most teams in the AFC by default. I've always kind of liked the Vikings. I did live in Minnesota for awhile, so I guess I'd pick them.

I'm an NFL purist. My heart has always been in the NFC. I always liked what Lamar Hunt did with the old AFL and his Kansas City Chiefs. I used to get a big kick out of Hank when I was a kid and those Chief fans are so loyal its hard not to like. But at this moment in time. if I wasn't a Cowboy fan, I think I would love to be a Jaguar fan. I think they are about to be special.

Probably the Raiders. My rooting interests usually stay on the East Coast/NYC, but I always loved Al Davis and his son looks just as weird and creepy as him. It doesn't hurt that they are starting to look relevant again.
I could easily hop on the Patriots bandwagon, but as soon as Belichick and Brady left, they'd just be the stupid Patriots I never really liked much-except in 1985.
Buffalo is another team I'd have to consider, but not while doofus Rex is head coach. It'd be more for the city and a shared enthusiasm with Chris Berman (nobody circles the wagons...) than for the team, it's players or its history. Love the rust belt and the snow belt. It doesn't get any more snow belt than Buffalo.

Re: If you weren't a fan of your team, what team would you be a fan of?
I grew up in Colorado, I suppose if the Broncos never existed I would have become a Bears fan since all of my extended family is from Chicago. Geographically however it would not stun me if I ended up a Cardinals fan as they would be the closest team. Or maybe with no team to root for, the Cowboys would be the most popular team in Colorado and I would have shamefully jumped on that bandwagon.
