Leonard Floyd was apparently taken off the field on the cart with injury. Anyone got any updates?

Being reported now that it's just illness, as he's been sick the last couple of days. Hope that's true and not a cover story for something more serious.

Being reported as illness.

Probably cramped up due to not hydrated properly compounded with illness.

Long also had to leave practice early with a calf injury. Not believed to be severe, but expected to miss some practice. Hicks must be hella strong.

I've never seen him in street clothese before, but he doesn't look like he lacks size here. He looks fine Upper body wise. He may need some more power in his legs

It looks like he bulked up a bit since the combine and OTAs. I don't recall his arms being that big and he has a bit more definition in his shoulders and chest. The diet and strength program they have him on must be working.

Jeremy Stoltz over at the Bear Report put out his Day 1 Training Camp Notebook. If you're interested in training camp news now's the time to subscribe as there's a deal going on 4 months for the price of one. Figure'd I'd plug him. With that said, since his Notebooks are premium article's I'm not going to do a comprehensive report but a few highlights paraphrased here:
Cody Whitehair is the starting LG at this point and competition needs to come through him and he got his ass handed to him by Unrein.
RB Depth to start:
1st team: Langford and Lasike (looks like we might retain a FB)
2nd team: Jacq. Rodg. and Joe Summers
3rd team: Carey
4th team: Perry
5th team: Howard
Deiondre Hall looked good against Mariani
Meredith is looking legit
Lamarr Houston was, according to Stoltz, the best defender on the field today.

Good insight from an amateur reporter on the Bears.

Hoyer's got an underrated release. Getting it out quick. And just hit Bellamy for a nice intermediate throw over middle. Solid #2 #Bears

Looooow attendance for 2nd straight day. Can't remember same even in Trestman Year 2. The weekend will bring a bump

He could have been hitting the weights with the Bears trainers since being drafted. I mean it has been 3 months.

Interesting article about Bennett bros

The Bennett bros are arguably the most selfish athletes in the game.

The ironic part, Martellus had his best 2 seasons playing with Cutler. Last year he pretty much quit on the Bears.

http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2016/8/5/12388662/chicago-bears-training-camp-recap-alshon-jeffery-john-fox-zach-miller

A quick note on Jeffery’s injury, Dan Bernstein from WSCR 670AM is reporting that Fox is "considerably upset" that Jeffery is nursing a hamstring and that he’s concerned that he "sandbags." Fox is disappointed that Jeffery skipped some of the Bears offseason workouts and he doesn’t fully trust him.

We’ll have to wait and see how quickly Jeffery returns and if his return leads to a plethora of other soft tissue injuries.

if he doesn't stay healthy this year, he GONE!
