For what it's worth (probably not much), Reddit is having its users on r/nba go through and rank all the positions quantitatively.
So far they've compiled C, PF, and SF, with SG being evaluated now.
Cs: We're #2. Drummond starts off the second tier significantly behind Cousins with KAT right on Andre's heels. https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/4uecz5/after_over_1000_responses_here_are_the_results_of/
PFs: Has Marcus Morris here at #22 at~75 overall. The poll was submitted with basketballreference's positional designations, but that "score" would have him 21st or 22nd (where Stanley is) in the SF list. https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/4ujrgr/results_of_rnbas_power_forward_rankings/
SFs: Tobias Harris ends up at #16 with an overall of ~78. That would have him 14th on the PF ranking.
SGs: TBD
PGs: TBD

Re: Off-Season Thread
They have KCP at 17th, sandwiched between Wesley Matthews (ahead) and Kent Bazemore (behind).

I would argue that a handful of players ahead of them aren't really SGs...
Matthews-fine
Devin Booker-fine
Evan Fourner-fine, but I'd rather have KCP
JR Smith-fine, but I'd rather have KCP
Victor Oladipo-fine
Avery Bradley-dude's a PG in a two PG system.
JJ Redick-fine...would Stan start him over KCP?
Andre Iguodala-SG? SF?
Bradley Beal-fine
Andrew Wiggins-SF. I'm just not sure if the Timberwolves have a single legitimate SG anywhere to be found.
CJ McCollum-I think he'd be a PG on most other teams.
Dwyane Wade-fine
Demar DeRozan-fine
Jimmy Butler-he'll be playing SF this year, but yeah
Klay Thompson-fine
James Harden-fine

Iguodala, Wiggins, and especially Butler are natural SFs. I don't get why they get played out of position so much. McCollum and Bradley are definitely SGs though. They are just a little undersized, especially Bradley.

Of that list the only legit SGs better than KCP (or it's a push) are:
Devin Booker
Victor Oladipo
Avery Bradley
CJ McCollum
Dwyane Wade - too old
Demar DeRozan - not worth acquiring
Klay Thompson - not worth the amount of assets it would take
James Harden - the Rockets franchise
Puts the retaining of KCP into perspective
