Wade is a real good interview. He doesn't just give scripted answers. He didn't even have to address the 2010 stuff, but he did anyway. I liked the signing to begin with, and now I like it even more.

I'm excited to see the influence that he will have on Jimmy and if Jimmy can take his game to another level.

He was on a rookie deal, not sure why they couldn't have come here...

I'm pretty sure there was talk about a Lu Deng deal that had fell through that would have cleared up just enough cap space to make it happen.

Also, I love how he gave major props to Jimmy about recruiting him.

I believe Bulls were at $29 million and Deng was making $14 million or thereabouts so they could've got up to around $43 million at the time, but, not enough to max all 3 out.

Like K.C. tweeted, he was in full control of the interview.

None of them played for the max at that time.

Nope. Wade clearly said he wanted and the bulls tried to get all three but they couldn't make it happen.

Rose
Wade
James
Bosh
Noah

Would of been unreal. I even remember Wade saying back then how fond Bosh was of Chicago. If we had no Rose then, we wouldn't of been looked at as a team on the rise.

I would take this team (when they were all at their prime) against this Golden State Warriors any day!

You thought wrong.

Wade wanted to play with his friends and Rose was cheap at the time.

i have no idea what to think of this team. If we do bad enough, Wade and Rondo will be out of here next year.

I'd like to see some of our young players take a step.

I dont think thats it.

I think its equally likely both are gone next year no matter how we do. Rondo is playing for a bigger deal, Wade is playing for personal wish list reasons. He could decide to retire the following year and play his last season in Miami as a far well tour.

Only way i see them both back for sure is if we defy expectations and get far in the playoffs.

Is it me, but Wade looks smaller (ie off roids), right? Especially in the face.

If this team makes the playoffs, whats the chances of Wade not re-signing here?

Really wanting to see him play out his career here.

Rondo's 2nd year is a team option. If he plays well, and the team doesn't think they can get CP3, he's going nowhere.

IMO he signed 2 years and then can opt out after 1 year so that probably next year we can give him another 3 year deal like around 75 million or something.

I've never seen Gar so loose and joyful as with this presser.

They could settle for less in Miami due to the lack of state income tax.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

He should be. Besides the self serving preservation of his own job, it's also the most impactful signing the franchise has had since Jordan left.
