I think we were rougher on our other legend, Lebron James.

Heat3 stop embarrassing yourself in here, your straw man arguments to diminish Wade are pathetic.

I've been trying to find a video of Spoelstra's post game press conference after that game, where he said the strategy that he told the team at the end of the game was to "give Wade the ball and get the f*** out of his way" on live TV. Do you know if it exists?

To my knowledge it doesn't. Not in video form at least.

Acknowledging that Lebron was a Heat legend now diminish Wade? 2 time MVP and #1 guy on 2 championships is not a legend material? Oh yeah he doesn't count cause he left for another team....doh! What is pathetic is holding onto a grudge against Lebron for doing the same thing Wade just did. I can't hate on Lebron like I did the last two season. Fact is that all of the Heat legends have played for other teams...

Zo
Timmy
Shaq
Lebron
Bosh
even G-money

and now Wade

If you think acknowledging fact = diminishing wade that's on you. Not me.

Now that don't change my opinion that I think he declined a lot and isn't worth the money he wanted and that we're better off rebuilding now than overpaying him. But that is separate from his career accomplishments/legend status. I have the ability to separate the two. A lot of posters here can't.

Your LeBron post has nothing to do with it, your posts regarding Wade, particularly his playoff run, himself are the issue.

The dude's just a contrarion, saying Wade contributed as much as Dragic isn't an opinion, it's foolishness.

You forgot Heat legends Eddie Jones and Brian Grant who also played for other teams.

Of course Heat legends Udonis Haslem and Keith Askins haven't.
