Always will be one. Not a Pat Riley fan anymore though & I hope he calls it quits asap. Dwyane Wade is the reason why I became a Heat fan in 2004 so my loyalties will always be with him (unless he joined LeBron in Cleveland)

You never know lol. LeBrons favorite team growing up was the Bulls. CP3 and Melos favorite team was probably the Bulls too, not to say we'll get them all though. I would say it's a possibility we somehow get 1 or 2 of them.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who cringed every time Gar forced an awkward laugh. The man is a straight awkward goon. How does a man with like zero charisma or people skills elevate to such a position?

Wade mentioned how he was seriously considering coming here back in 2010 since he met with the team twice, but the Bulls couldn't clear enough cap space to land all 3 of Lebron, Wade, and Bosh.

Lebron won't leave Cleveland and shouldn't. I think Wade will focus on recruiting younger stars coming here.

The presser demonstrated/confirmed....

Cowley is not only an a**hat with his writing but also with his questions.

KC Johnson cares mostly about on the court Bulls basketball.

Gar Forman has limited social skills, portrays a creepy persona.

DWade is a deservedly, highly respected individual among the basketball community.

I loved Wade before he became a huge douchebag. Loved him at Marquette, and early in his NBA career I quickly found him to be one of the most entertaining NBA players I'd ever seen. But then he became very unlikeable, which lasted many years.

I still don't like him. But it was hard to keep feeling that way during the press conference. He was likeable, funny, intelligent, and most importantly sincere. He seemed to give legitimate and thoughtful answers to every question, without ever appealing unrealistically to fanboy nation.

For his first act as a Bull, he couldn't have done better.

And while Cowley has been right about a few things, and I don't discredit his reports out of hand due to bias, its still hard to take the guy seriously. His question was an embarrassment. I wish Gar would have hammered him a little more than he did.

Agreed, hard time seeing LBJ leave. But just saying, LeBron talked last year that he'd liked to play with his friends(Wade, CP3, Melo) on the same team. This could be the place to do it.

CP3, Butler, LBJ, Melo, ???

While this group hasn't yet shown any reason to debate that, in light of the last 2 years when our top players obviously couldn't get on track on floor, hard to say it might not be a relevant question.

I found it very informative that Jimmy told Wade that he didn't care about his role on the team, he just wanted to win games, and knew D-Wade could help with that. Quite a bit different than the interaction with Melo for instance, when we were trying to pursue him.

I also like that it precipitated Wade to come right out and quash such talk by saying flat out its Jimmy's team and doubling down on what Rondo already said.

By putting it out on the table so early, before it could even become a possible issue, and answering the question in a strong way that suggests it won't ever be a problem, I think it turned out actually a productive exchange. One that also gave us further insight into Wade's maturity and wisdom, which should give fans confidence for the season.
