I wrote an article on the Magic offseason for RealGM!

http://basketball.realgm.com/analysis/242994/Making-Sense-Of-The-Talented-Yet-Scattered-Magic-Roster

Thought you guys might enjoy it, can check it out there.

It presents a positive (yet a little skeptical) view of the offseason, addressing our logjam/depth, and general Magic stuff and even though a lot of you already know most of what I wrote about, if any stranger to the team comes away knowing a little bit more, I did my job.

I could be deathly wrong, I could be right, but I'm just excited for the season to come.

I liked it a lot, more or less how I feel about our offseason, not sure why people are saying we will struggle on offense as if we have gotten worse on that end.

Thanks! Yeah, I mean it very well could be worse but things work in funny ways. I think if you're trying to compare us to the Warriors or even Portland or teams like that we'll look pretty poor in comparison, but I think there are quite a few other teams with spacing issues. I'm banking on a lot of internal improvement and some surprise seasons from others.

Great read man! Well balanced, and pointing out the room for versatility with this team is a nice contrast to analysts who just don't get it.

Most of all, I loved the Stranger Things reference at the end. Best show I've seen in a while. Possibly my favourite show of all time?

One word Sir....... BRAVO!!!
Not only is it well written, but is truthful, in fact I suggest a few of the so called beat writers for the local "Slant...teniel" should not only pay attention but strive for the same levels of professional ethics displayed in this work!!!

Good job!! 8-) 8-)
Waiting for the Championship parade at Lake Eola!

Beat me to it with that reference! It was a great read, and really nice to see a an article about the Magic that is more than a paragraph or two!

I read this article earlier, when RealGM tweeted the link. By the end of it, I was so happy to see someone finally "got it" in regards to our moves & potential. Glad to see it was one of us stepping out from behind a screen name and showing the haters what the Magic will be about with good thought.

Really enjoyed it and hope to read more pieces from you.

Thanks guys, means a lot! Expect some more pieces in the near future. Won't all be Magic related obviously, but will try to fit in some where I can definitely.

Good job Soul! It was a good read. Always nice to read something Magic related by someone who actually knows about the team.

Let them doubt. It'll be fun to watch them admit they were wrong half way through the season. We have the talent needed for a 43+ win season. I'm loving this team. I always wanted them to be elite defensively, and hopefully tough as hell.
