Uyyy.

Woodley is coming off a split dec win against Gastellum, an injury win against Condit, has a totally listless loss to Rory three fights ago. I don't remember the Kim fight. But those are his last 4.

He's been so damn careful to avoid challenge, it's really an uninteresting trajectory.

There isn't a barn burner match-up til Pearson vs Jorge.

Woodley also beat Hendricks at the weigh in.

I'll be skipping this one. Hate missing Mavidal fight anyone. Same with Lawler. Otherwise not much I care about for a ppv.

Yeah, this is a very poor card IMO as well, Lawler should win fairly easy..

Lawler should have lost his last fight, fwiw I know MMA math but Condit lost to Woodley, and I have an easier time believing the pre-USADA legitimacy of Woodley's rise due to the more normal trajectory of it, his disposition, genetics, and martial arts pedigree. I'm inclined to believe Woodley wins on some combo of wrestling, footwork, and a counter or lead power shot when Robbie gets lax on d.

Anyways, the last time Lawler won easily was five fights ago, against an Ellenberger who was a shell of his former self. I just don't see that outcome of him winning fairly easily being very likely.

How the hell does Jake Ellenberger keep getting big fights btw. I'm one who at one point said I could see him being a ufc champion, but I feel like he has lost 10 fights in a row. He's the 170 Tim Boetsch. He's like the fighter who decided to go clean prior to USADA or something. This dude knocked out Jake Shields!

This was my personal co-main event. Really wanted to see how Creepy would've done after the long lay off. He doesn't have many fights left from what I've saw in the interviews as he has nerve damage in his arm. Might have another fight or two in him, at the most.

McCall was talking like 2 months ago about how he was leaning towards never fighting again. Didn't even realize he was on this card. Gotta be just hard up for money or something I'd think.

edit: I actually think he was saying he probably would never fight again the last time he was on fight companion which was actually June 28th, so a month ago exactly. How do you go from that to fighting again so quick? His podcast must have bombed.

"McCall will weigh in on Friday as scheduled and will be on hand as an alternate."

Interesting, and will apparently also involve him getting his show money.

That Reebok money is blowing in the wind, though.

They should just have him fight Reis on the main card. Can be a title eliminator if Mighty Mouse if back before TUF. Also then someone may have seen Reis fight before his title shot.

Woodley by early KO, late 1st or early 2nd
Karolina by close 2-1 decision tho id be far more confident for Karolina if it was 5 rounds
Matt Brown by late TKO but Jake back with Cordeiro is a wild card and Matt is very hittable and Jake might be the most powerful guy in welterweight history
Cisco by TKO
Jorge by decision would lol if another Sd
Serrano by decision
I think Sandoval is gonna give Reis some trouble, hes a tough matchup for him but i think Reis will sqeak out a decision
Graves by Fotn decision
Krylov by 2nd round knockout

Jakes last great performance was against Lawler. He was a shell afterwards but he looked great that night prolly the best he looked post Shields outside of the quick Marquardt fight. He didnt look against Hieron but that was a similar type performance to Rocha fight, hes always had fights like that where he couldnt pull the trigger.

What the hell is Fox Sports 2? My hotel doesn't get that channel. In between PPVs, fightpass, fox sports 1, fox sports 2, and watered down cards the UFC sure likes making it hard for people to watch their show.

Ironically I get Fox Sports 2 but not Fox Sports 1 since I cut down on my TV package.

I had commented on the last weigh-in that no one looked rip anymore. It's because it's not the actual weigh-in! We watch what is now just the face-off & reading of weights, but they've weighed in like 8-10 hours earlier. New system.

1st 2 prelims done quick, don't blink. Lots of spam in between the fights, ugh.

This should be a FOX card, weak main card.
