They both suck and the schedule is a nightmare. Firmly on team tank this year.

I've never been a believer in Geno and neither Petty or Hack are ready. I believe he's our best chance of the 4 and the receivers thinks very highly of him. And if we can't win with Fitz (which is likely considering the schedule), he's off the books next offseason.

Best chance for what? Surely you dont think youre going to win a SB with fitzy...so then why not take a shot at developing a young QB?

As a fan of a team that's in win now mode, you have to try to think playoffs even with a brutal schedule. That's all that matters and if that somehow happens, you're in a crap shoot of single game eliminations.

On specifically the Jets QB situation, you really only like or hate this deal if you like or hate Geno because Petty and Hack simply aren't ready, which very much seems to be the case for the front office since they now have 4 QBs.

Last year hou guys had a cupcake schedule and you didnt make it. This year you guys arent going to make the playoffs. You guys will start the year off with fitzy, then after some losing geno will get his chance. And if he doesnt play well then hackenberg will see some time.

If that happens, it happens. It's not out of the realm of possibility. But for the time being, Bowles and Maccagnan are playing this correctly.

Fitz is the best chance to win. Genover is not the answer. Schedules don't mean anything. You have to play the games.

I'm not a huge Fitz fan but he's all we have. Our defense should keep us in every game.

I don't understand how anyone can defend Geno or think he needs another chance. Football is a team game. Fitz is the ultimate team guy. He FaceTime texts game plans with his players. He gets surgery on his hand and plays the next week. He's as fired up as any player. Sure he makes mistakes and sure he doesn't have the greatest arm or the best touch but theirs a reason a guy like Marshall loves him. He's a football junky. He lives and dies for this game. Look at Cutler who by all means is much more talented than Fitz but doesn't have the drive Fitz has. Marshall has never said the things about Cutler that he's said after one season with Fitz.

Geno was in a great system in college. People forget most of the guys Geno played against ARENT in the NFL. He's shown time and time again he can't read defenses. Mangold makes the calls for him at the line. Fitz makes all the audibles when he's in. Geno throws to one receiver he doesn't scan the field. Geno has no respect from his other teammates that's why he got punched in the face. No player would punch Fitz because his other teammates wouldn't let that happen. Geno doesn't put the team first that's why he misses meetings and the team had to lie and say he forgot about the time change in California. Geno has not gotten better in any way since his rookie year. He got put in last year in Oakland and still showed the same issues. Geno lacks the drive, compassion and humility to lead a team.

Do people forget Geno's infamous behind the back move at his own 1 yard line? This isn't basketball behind the back is completely meaningless and dangerous. This is the guy people want leading a team with guys like revis, mangold, Marshall, decker and forte trying to win now. Some people have no clue how football works.
