What teams do you root against/despise the most?

Being a long time Chargers fan, it is definitely the AFC West divisional rivals. I mean as a die hard nfl fan, you basically have to root against them every single weekend. I always really feel it for the Broncos and Chiefs...just HATE to see them win. For whatever reason I don't hate the Raiders as much right now, but that is likely because they have sucked for about 15 years, but even those last couple of years with Gruden/Gannon they were somewhat a fun team, and the Chargers blew then anyway (bad enough to draft high enough to get Ryan Leaf with the second overall pick).

I have grown to hate the Patriots over the years too. Never would have thought that before the 2000s. Never particularly liked the Steelers or Roethlisberger either.

Cowboys - it's genetic.

Titans/Colts/Jaguars - it's divisional. It's better for my team if they lose. I used to loathe the very existence of the Titans, but after Bud Adams passed away a lot of that sheer loathing went away. Now they're just another team in the division which I do not like.

I hated Pitt and Dallas but rooted for Pitt. In the early SBs because I disliked Dallas more as a Rams fan lol

Seattle has a cool helmet but I hate the uniform.

The Patriots are just boring now

Sorry Jack, I grew up watching my Raiders, the Seahawks came along and I got stuck watching a 2-12 team and my Raiders were a 13-1 Super Bowl winner. Then people told me I needed to support the Seahawks because they were the closest team to our area. I was a Trailblazer fan and hated the Sonics. So it was a natural rivalry.

BTW: Seattle totally got screwed with the OKC move. I miss the great rivalry.

Freddie would just shoot the lights out. I always liked Lenny Wilkens, a good player and a better coach. He was a player-coach, something you don't see any more.

All of them still live in the area. Slick does advertisements still every now & then. Freddie had a failed arena project go public (one on the Seattle waterfront & more recently in Tukwila, which is a Seattle suburb). Lenny is still seen around town too.

I hate Pittsburgh. I really, really, hate Pittsburgh. I hate the Titans, mostly for turning away from being one of the most fun teams in one of the coolest stadiums in history. I kind of hate the Eagles. I hate the freaking Packers and Bears. I hate the Matt Ryan version of the Falcons. I think that covers it.

The official 2016 list of bleu's least favorite teams in the NFL:

5. Pittsburgh Steelers - I don't have a real reason why, and honestly I don't hate them all that much. But somebody had to be #5, and I find myself cheering against them often

4. Dallas Cowboys - I used to hate them a lot more, and I still hate Jerry Jones and how the Cowboys handle situations like Greg Hardy, but I actually like Romo quite a bit and I think he gets a lot more hate and criticism than he deserves

3. New England Patriots - I also used to hate them more than I do, but it's fizzled out a little bit and now. I still hate Belichick, and I absolutely can't stand most Pats fans I've ever met, but I'm mostly just tired of them winning at this point. Still, there are only two teams in the league who I would cheer for them over and they are:

2. Denver Broncos - This mostly stems from living in Utah (with no NFL team), and being surrounded by Broncos fans all the time. I hate that every Sunday the damn Broncos are on TV, I hate Von Miller, I hate their style of play, and I hate my coworker who never stops talking about the Broncos. Losing to them in the Super Bowl definitely didn't make me like them more either, but my hatred started long before that.

And bleu's least favorite team in the NFL for 2016, who I will not cheer for in any circumstance and for any reason:

1. New York Giants - I just hate them. I don't really know what else to say. I hate Coughlin. I hate Eli Manning. I hate all of the unwarranted attention they receive just because they are in New York. I hate most of their fans. I hate Jason Pierre Paul. And most of all, I hate hate HATE Odell ****ing Beckham. I can't even stand looking at him, and I cringe when I see his posts retweeted on my Twitter timeline. If he left and went to another team, that team would likely be in my top 5 most hated as well. **** the Giants.

I get the Pittsburgh, Dallas, NE & Denver hate from your perspective. The Giants on your list is a little surprising tho. I mean they pretty much saved us from the Patriots winning 6. Along with all the 19-0, "greatest team" chatter. If you thought Boston fans were bad enough, just think how insufferable they would be, if not for the Giants. :wink:
