Boy are some of you going to be so angry when we win 40 games next season. If you think we're not better than 10 teams in the NBA, you're delusional. This team has 100 times more the talent than we did when we only won just 15 games, it's ridiculous the comments I see here.

I wish but I'm not a belieber, papi. I think we could suck enough to miss the playoffs but I think it's kinda a stretch for 10-under, 9-under. Health and rotations definitely matter but I think we're blowing things a little out of proportion and maybe overrating our overall team and season last year. We knew and realized why the talent we had made us a flawed team, so def not new... Papi, I wouldn't lie to you, I don't care either way

The way I look at it in 2014 after LBJ left I thought we were a 50 win team who was gonna compete for the top of the east but we ended up winning just 37 games after we quickly realized that we had zero depth and nothing outside of Wade and CB.

Now for this team you're putting our ceiling at making the playoffs so if thats our roof when things go right what's our floor if they go very wrong?

Cause this team has got some nice young role player in Rich, Justise, and TJ but if CB doesn't come back we're nothing but Goran and Hassan and we have zero half court scorers.

If Hassan get's hurt which he always does for small stretches at a time we'll be left with Willie Reed and Sob at center unless you wanna play UD big minutes.

Opposing teams are gonna pressure Goran, trap him on PnR's and take advantage of the fact that no one other than him can pass on our team.

Listen to me papi this team will be fun at the start of the season but as it goes on we'll quickly find out that the 2016 Heat= no bueno.

Assuming relative health when I say 40+, wouldn't be surprised if we went to the lotto or became a top 5 East team. Could be naivety or just plain old dumb... But js, tbh...

I'd love Josh Jackson or Fultz for the price of seeing Waiters in a Heat jersey... But again, wouldn't lie to you.

If Bosh comes back and plays like he did before the clots? Probably win 40ish games at least. But we have no idea if he'll ever play again. Wade, Deng, Joe Johnson, maybe no Chris Bosh.. Can't replace that kind of talent and production with Waiters, Derrick Williams (a guy I'm actually excited about), Wayne freaking Ellington, Babbit, and James Johnson.

Don't like how some of these mocks make changes when the season hasn't even started yet.

He only moved up since he won MVP for team usa and some of the other guys weren't playing international. Regardless I'm definitely watching a lot more college games this year than past couple years.

That's pretty much I'm saying though, you're expecting 40+. Back in 2014 I was expecting 50+ and we ended up with 37 now you're doing the same thing but in reverse, we'd ideally want <29 but because we can't have nice things your predicting 40+. We'll see, I mean last year we had Waaaaaay more talent. This year without Wade, Deng, JJ, and possibly Bosh we've lost 2 stars or 4 above average starters and gained nothing really.

Not expecting, that's my if-everything-goes-right ceiling, Talent is just a slice of the pie, there were a few teams we were way more talented than but even at 100% they were just as good, if not better than us, i.e. Celtic's. Expectations don't always go the way you plan them is accurate. Not my expectations, just the way I see things

There are a lot of guys I'd be happy with in this draft, top ten or otherwise. Fultz plays at a nice pace and has a nice skill set to where he can play himself out of a jam. He's not going to get shut down very often because he can do so much. He has good length and good athleticism to pair with those qualities. I'd be very okay with him running the point for us.

I'd seen Kwe Parker in some games where I'd been watching another prospect and he stood out, but I had never made it to his highlight videos. The video below is entertaining on a couple levels. I've never watched this guy's channel but he has over 150K subscribers, so he's reeling them in. He's a complete loon, but entertaining at the least. Add Kwe Parker to the mix, and its a fun watch.

Still early but Jackson, Smith and Fultz are the top3 guys for me, likely Ball and Ntilikina round up the top5.
Not so sold on the Duke guys, Giles lack of ball skills plus the ACLs are concerning and his range is still doubtious, think that Jarrett Allen although less heralded could be as good in a secondary role, Tatum can score but needs to hone his passing and is not a shooter, esp off-the-ball.
I do like Markkanen, like a Mirotic with character, love Rabb if he shows an improved faced up game and more meat to his body, and some of the comboforwards, especially Anunoby, Miles Bridges, Lawson, Lydon, Keita Bates-Diop, Justin Jackson, Ray Smith, Cam Oliver, Blossomgame, Vince Edwards, Nigel Hayes, Carlton Bragg, Devin Robinson, Kyle Kuzma, Beachem, Isaac and Slavica, all of them are likely better at PF offensively going forward.

Not so many pure wings, like always that is a weak position that needs talented guys but there are a few tall intriguing Guards like Sumner, Milton.
I guess if you are talking pure wings, Tatum and Josh Jackson are going to end up playing half their minutes at PF eventually in the league, the best prospects are Mikal Bridges, Rodion Kurucs, Terrance Ferguson, Josh Hart, Dwayne Bacon, Kostja Mushidi, Allonzo Trier, Dillon Brooks, Andrew White, Svi, Santiago Yusta... not much there, I do like Bridges as a lotto guy, Kurucs will probably not play much for Barça, Ferg has all the tools but he is raw as a basketball player, similar vibes from a former and current Celtic in Gerald Green.

Strong PG draft and combo-forward/PF is good for the Heat needs going forward.
Dunno about the season, wont be surprised either way, I think you can make the PO but Riley might want a high pick and decide to trade Dragic when his value peaks high, so...

I think your top five makes a lot of sense from what I've seen so far. All big time playmakers.

This is a great trend and loving the prospects everyone are sharing. But the one guy that I really become a fan of is the "American Ginobli" Grayson Allen.

Mod Quiz might ban you for this comparison, that's pretty insulting.

Honestly I can easily see Allen go in the top 10, I'm not sure why he's so underrated. You don't often see 10 YO with his athleticism and proven scoring ability that can put up 20+ PPG on such great efficiency. Also kid got balls and heart.

He might not have superstar potential but I'd say he's extremely likely to have a good or very good NBA career. Elite shooting, versatility, athlthe. He's a great looking prospect. JJ Reddick level is very attainable and maybe more.

I was gonna say, white Duke player comparison aside, a JJ type of career arc is a very real likelihood for him. He's not a swing for the fence type of pick, but for a team in the late lotto he'll be more of a sure than any other prospect. Just not anyone you ever build a franchise around.

I mean at the very least he's a MUCH better prospect that TJ was after his sophomore season... or any college season really. We made a serviceable player out of Tyler, we could do a lot more with someone like Grayson Allen.

Difficult to imagine Grayson Allen going in the lottery. This draft is stacked with great freshman and even a few internationals of note. Allen is a good player. First round, just after the lottery picks. Maybe get him at 20.
