OT: What if David Stern entered...

the United States of America Presidential Race? Does he fit the typecast of a US President? Does his tenure as the NBA Commissioner indicate any correlation of how he'd run this country?! I'm very curious to hear people's reaction to this because of all the mixed perceptions fans had on Stern's career.

And how would he stack this election year? Let's say he was running for some particular third party.

It is hard for anyone to say they'd vote for someone without knowing where they stand on various issues.

But he most definitely could run if he wanted to and would be taken serious if he says what voters want to hear, for better or worse...

I'll never understand all the hate for Stern. He took over an NBA that was in shambles, left with the NBA at an all-time high in terms of revenue and in prime position to secure a massive TV deal. When you look at his tenure as commissioner understanding that the owners of NBA franchises were his client (read: not the players), you can see that he did an outstanding job.

Oh yeah, he also groomed his replacement in Adam Silver and he's doing a bang up job thus far. I don't know that Stern would be a great politician, but he was a fine commissioner of the NBA.
