London baby

Great news for European Pacer fans :D
Timing couldn't be more perfect for me, now that the Pacers will have the players to play attractive basketball again.
Roy Hibbert falling 5 times a game on the floor, wasting precious time on the shot clock, nah, I'm glad those slow days are over and all players/persons who remind me of that Pacers period of time are gone. Hill, Vogel, Mahinmi.

The Pacers future looks promising and entertaining.

My condolences to STH Denver fans, who might not see this great Pacers team play this year in their arena. Better luck next year lol

I am so happy about this! About time that I get to see them live, in person as I never had an opportunity to go to Indiana myself. I heard tickets will be available as soon as the Season starts right?

From Pacers.com, "The game will be designated as a home game for the Nuggets. Tickets for the game will go on sale at the beginning of the 2016-17 NBA season." Hate to guess, but this could mean tickets would be available from Denver and not Indy although I'd assume some UK outlet too.

I imagine all the tickets are going to essentially come through Ticketmaster or some other retailer. I doubt many Nuggets season ticket holders will pay up to make a mid-season trip for one game in London.

Also, I'm sure that the NBA has talked to the Pacers, and that they refused to move a home game of their own to London and give up possible ticket sales control.

plus, it keeps the Pacers from having to plan a game "a mile high" this year. that's worth several points in the line.

I expect you're right about tickets primarily being sold online although it wouldn't surprise me if Denver season ticket holders got a presale opportunity. and I have no knowledge regarding TicketMaster's presence in the London market; it's possible that a British company would be the outlet.

Keep marketing the brand. And it doesnt take away a home game from us!

That sure is really cool, but what a shame that it's on january 12th. Right after the holidays and on a weekday.

and too bad the Colts are in London in October instead of later in the season. I'm tempted to do one trip or the other and it would be really compelling if one could do both on a single stay.

I'm not sure I'm going.

My original plan was to make a trip to Indianapolis in november. Depending on which teams the Pacers play at home in november, I might prefer to spend my money on better seats at BLF and some better opponents than the Nuggets.

Would love to see some other star players beside PG :D

Well thank you for your condolences but we'll console ourselves by beating one of the NBA's better teams.

If you live "a mile high", you realize that playing at lower altitudes is easier. That is why many olympic athletes train in Colorado. It's a blessing and a curse.

Here's hoping Denver can bring it's best game to London - where they will clearly be the underdog. 8-)
