Jeremy Stephens on Rogan. Ha. I appreciate that he's not quite the meathead I would have expected, he can demure a bit. Talking about being at ATT helping Masvidal, they warned him in advance that Lombard would be around, and would probably ask him to spar, they told him, "whatever you do, do not do it". Lombard walked in, Stephens understood - "hell no, I'm not sparring that dude".

HA, Stephens posted on his fb this week a bunch of pictures of him literally beating on unconscious guys and called out the "p*ssies" who had a problem with him being a "true fighter" by not stopping until the ref pulled him off his unconscious opponents. His post was shared by such luminaries as Lloyd the rapist Irvin.

Grade A scumbag.

Definitely, he'd just be concerned he wasn't the one doing the bullying. If you were his size or smaller or in a prone position he'd start wailing on you, because that's what make you a true fighter. The joy of degrading as many people as you can, not the sanctioned desire to see how efficiently you can incapacitate them to prove hypothetically you could get the job done better than anyone if in the real world you HAD to fight.

I guess he thinks Joe Lauzon is a pussy because he wanted the ref to stop the Sanchez fight since Diego was taking far too much damage so there was no point to it anymore. He proved what he needed to prove, albeit as a pussy/fake fighter. BTW, that pussy made him say mataei when they fought.

So what if he's not a total meathead, rather has a frat boy's mentality, at 30 year's old.

Speaking of Stephens, he posted this on the UG tonight:

Just throwing this out there......

If there is anyone wanting to promote some fights (street or gym, I can't do sanctioned) and pay trolls / keyboard warriors to fight me.... YES!! I'm in.

Without a doubt, I'd be all in for some **** like that. Hopefully SOMEONE can make this happen sooner or later.

I would love to throw all right hands at keyboard warriors with Hbombs at the end. Any dude of any weight can get it.

-Jeremy Stephens

Lucky for him, Lombard isn't a troll.

I'd like to think that most fighters at his level would have a sense of professionalism and that they wouldn't get anything out of beating up keyboard warriors. Do NBA players read forums and challenge random posters to 1 on 1 (with the intent to humiliate them)?

It's hilarious how surrounding making that case he didn't actually nearly beat a guy near death at a party years ago, he's getting aggressive with people on the interwebz and threatening to beat them up left and right for questioning him in any way. Few are even questioning his fighting ability, let alone challenging him. He's sort of proving their point that he's a bad representation of MMA'ists by putting out all these statements and telling the next judge he inevitably comes across to punish him severely.

I say Grade A Dirtbag/stereotypical Tapout wearer instead.

Is Ryan Parsons the biggest failure in MMA?

He was such a schmarm on JRE a couple years ago, talking himself up as cutting-edge and whatnot. Gymnastics and the airdyne. Saying things, like, "I heard at a conference just last week that the cardiovascular system only adapts to high-intensity exercise". That was an idiot trend in exercise science in like 2007. This idiot goes by Dr. Ryan Parsons, btw. And has dozen bull products sell under the rubric, with his chiropracty degree.

Also, all your fighters lose.

He pushed three particular fighters in that podcast: Patrick Cummings, Dennis Bermudez, and Kailin Curran. Each were on the verge of contendership, he'd have you believe. With his guidance, they were the future.

Pat has been KOd 3 times since, Dennis gone 1/3, and Kailin been stopped 3 times.

You little weirdo.

I could have sworn I posted this already, but Erick Silva and Brandon Thatch will fight on some random upcoming fight night card to determine once and for all which 30+ year old prospect was more overhyped.

I remember having such hope for Erick Silva. The kid had everything, athleticism, well rounded skills, great hair. Just didn't have the gas tank or the IQ

The Thatch story may be even worse. If he bothered to get to a high level blue or purple belt level in jiu jitsu he could STILL be good. Rumors (Brendan again) say he's just not interested in that though, so look for him to be choked again by the next good fighter he faces. Not sure if that will be Silva though if Silva comes in as doughy as he has been lately.
