We can beat Cavs as currently assembled

How you figure that?

Rondo can hold down Kyrie. Jimmy holds down Lebron and makes him shoot bad percentages. Not to mention Wade and Lebron even without good d on Lebron would cancel one another out and Taj can lock down Love.

Basketball doesn't work like that, i'm sorry.

I know some of it is PR, but Wade seems happy and energized to be home in Chicago. If Wade's motivated, we're in for a fun year.

Yeah but those guys will struggle with our defense and those guys on them.

Now that all of this discussion about "who's team it is" is settled with it being Jimmy's,

I wonder what the next narrative some beat writer will write up for this bulls team? I guess we'll have to find that out in 2 months+.

I just hope that the general conception of this new bulls team(good or bad) from the media wont derail the chemistry/comradery we could potentially have or already have.

I just don't want Nick fridell's or whoever's speculation to make headlines in the news saying something negative about our bulls team which could sort of paralyze the organization this season like it was last year.

But looking at it in the grand scheme of things, hopefully this Bulls team is stronger than that this year with Wade/even Rondo mentoring our guys about media/propaganda bs. Screw the headlines.

Wade vs Lebron head to head career wise. Makes sense since both came in same time

Decent analysis.

The most awesome thing though was the narrators voice. It sounded like I was watching an episode of " The First 48" on A & E.

Definitely going to get one. Not sure how long he'll be here(so doubt it's worth buying a jersey), still one my favorite players.

Phrase that caught me off guard wasn't about Wade, but Rondo. He said "Rondo was a supreme shooter".
I know you guys require stats so this was taken from nba.com:

I think wade would be much better served coming off the bench at this point in his career as the defacto backup pg like ginobili.

This avoids playing him with Rondo all the time and let's him come In and attack teams when he's fresh. Limiting his minutes isn't a bad thing either so he's fresh in the 4th quarter when he thrives off reputation calls.

This solves the bulls lack of backup pg problem also. I don't know if wades ego would accept a role off the bench Iso the only issue but it's pretty clearly their best option to make this work.

All the homecoming stuff will fade quick if the bulls get off to a rough start as expected whole adjusting to this new roster. I mean even the heat and cavs started poorly with super teams so you can imagine how ugly this rondo/wade backcourt is gonna be the first 20 games or so. I think starting wade off the bench gives them a chance to play less minutes together and experiment a little without all the media and fan backlash if they are losing a lot early

Rondo should come off the bench, you don't bench a top 5 player in the league.

I have, he cancels out Lebron. Wade will lead us to a title this year.
