I don't know about you guys, but I think I'm becoming a big fan of 14 seconds on the shot clock for second chances.

nope, only coaches can call timeouts and only during dead ball situations.

The U.S. better realize there are some really talented teams going for the Gold. If they show up like this again playing lackadaisical defense, they'll lose. Just because you're the most talented team by a large margin doesn't mean you can take nights off like 80% of the team did today. Luckily Irving and Melo bailed out the other guys.

I don't know why Team USA has this mentality but you always have to come out and compete. Letting Australia's guys have open shots just because you're lazy and don't want to play defense is not the way to prepare yourself for the elimination round.
