Not really. Jerryd Bayless is a good fit next to Simmons. And we don't need point guards because Simmons is expected to be playing point by after the all star break.

OK... I'm amping myself up now.

Eh, with no offensive game whatsoever.

11 pts a game on 52% shooting and has the length and hops to consistently catch lobs.

What more do you want from your center? That DeAndre Jordan fadeaway jumper? That Tyson Chandler stepback J with the defender in his face? Or those Dwight Howard corner 3balls? I mean, he's young. In time he could develop that Rudy Gobert dominance in the paint..........

Eh maybe. He also tore the ACL at a pretty young age, though he seems fully recovered from that. I don't know, is he worth the max next offseason?

That could work but i have a feeling smaller quicker guards like Kyrie will make him look silly

I don't think anything is happening before the Olympics end. But I do think a Noel/Okafor deal is likely the only "major" deal we may complete before training camp.

Otherwise , we trade one or two of Young and Hunter, the waive Holland and Bentil if necessary.

Even Lebron plays with PG's.

He's 6'10 and fast, so he'll be good on the perimeter. If they get by him they will have to go at Embiid.

I can see Simmons handling the ball alot... but he won't be playing the "PG position". If that makes sense. He'll be no different than what we see Lebron do, or what Evan Turner did.

That just tells me Avery Bradley makes the most sense in a trade. He would fit very nicely next to simmons and is much better than Bayless.

Idk if id do Bradley for Noel. This past playoffs against Atlanta without him was pretty telling to this teams success with him.

I hear you. It depends on if the Danny and Brad think Rozier and Smart can step up. I would imagine Danny has been offering a package centered around Rozier. Who I think is poised to be a nice player. He could be a gunner for them like Bayless but offers much better defense.

Before making a deal, expect Ainge to try to use Philadelphia's lack of leverage against them as much as he possibly can.

If that makes the deal fall apart? The thinking may be "So be it." After all, Boston has Al Horford, several other talented bigs, and excellent draft picks on the horizon. Giving up too many assets for Noel might be counterproductive.

Lol. Fans of Danny Ainge's lowballz have at it folks!

If any of you have the Sixers/Celtics summer league game on PVR still, I urge you to check out Colangelo talking to his staff while Rozier is tearing it up out there. He does look intrigued. Perhaps Rozier and a 1st rounder would be enough to get it done.

Right. And I don't think Smart is an ideal fit with Simmons... As he can't shoot a lick. All depends on much Philly likes Rozier nd his ability to become a legit PG.

If this actually happens, we will win the trade no matter who we send out. Danny vs. BC is like MJ vs. Delly.

Wish Hinkie was still GM. Trade wise Danny vs Hinkie is MJ vs LeBron.
Look at his trade history, it's fleece city. We got Saric and our 2017 pick(which we can now swap with SAC) for Elfrid Payton. We also got an unprotected 2019 SAC pick, swap rights for two years and Stauskas for taking on Carl Landry and Jason Thompson.

Yeah, Hinkie got screwed. Just as his 'process' was about to pay off, they ax the guy. You're right, he was killing guys in trades.

James Young would be happy to stand around waiting to shoot threes while Ben Simmons dribbles.

Christmas Day slate if rumors/leaks are true (no order yet): Knicks-Celtics, Thunder-Wolves, Clippers-Lakers, Bulls-Spurs, and Cavs-Warriors.

Or we could just wait for the schedule to come out in an hour and a half lol.
