You realize that Brown was supposed to go around 7th overall, right? The Brooklyn picks are out of teams control so they aren't as valuable as you may think. Noel is a generational talent on defense with the stats to back it up. Rozier is not the god you presume him to be, to me he's a throw in player, a little more valuable than a second round pick. Smart is terrible, point guards in the modern NBA need to be able to score 25 per game, and he can't. Brown is unpolished with potential, which is why a conversation would START with him, there would have to be more. If you guys think you'll be the only ones calling throughout the season, good luck with that. If you want to be foolish you can, but you are the only fans that value Rozier, Smart, and James Young.

If Noel is a generational talent on defense, and Smart sucks, how is it that Smart got all-NBA defense votes and Noel got none? Even Boogie Cousins got votes, but not your generational defensive center!

amazing to me that somebody who is a fan of a team that won TEN freaking games last year can call his players amazing generational talent and rotational 22 year olds on a team that won 48 games can be garbage. I truly wonder if you are watching the same game I am watching.

And Okafor can't play OFF BALL DEFENSE, his on ball is actually pretty good. Embiid is 7'2, 280 with a post game, 3 point shot, athleticism, and can block shots. He's also ripped. You shall see, Okafor will make you envious, Embiid will rip your heart out, and Simmons will make you switch allegiances. We also have Saric and Noel! I will warn you now, don't sleep on the Sixers.

I think we've identified the fatal flaw in Hinkie's master plan. By the time things start to come together (as in you land a Simmons), you start to lose good young players on the back end. The losing takes its toll and players want out of the situation first chance.

That's actually what makes Hinkie's master plan work. It's like a perpetual-motion machine: the Sixers are guaranteed a top-2 draft pick forever.

I watched 90% of Sixers games last year. We "blew" like 15 fourth quarter leads on purpose. We'd put Jah on the bench and let Canaan throw up bricks. We will win around 30 games this year. And predicting 20 wins is sleeping.
