People are sleeping on Arsenal as title winners. Xhaka and Mustafi = Great business. Rumours they arent done yet.

I think they'll be pushed to make top 4 without more signings or re-invigoration of players.

Surely Wenger should hang up his studs.

Skhrodan Mustafi was at Everton from May 2009 to January 2012. He was 17 when the period started. Is that enough time at a young enough age, that he counts as a "homegrown" player?

Nah, that just means they'll win the whole thing 30 games in.

Think we have a pretty good squad now striker aside. El-Neny and Xhaka are massive upgrades on the corpses of flamini/arteta and both can pass really well in comparison to coquelin. Our midfield which was our second biggest problem last year looks to have been solved. Ramsey bringing that form from the Euros into this season and putting last year behind him will also be huge.

Now we just have to find support upfront. Alexis looked pretty good at CF against City so if we can't get a striker we can use him there time to time. So we'd need another winger. Honestly don't know which Striker to target. Lyon are asking 60M pounds for Lacazette and he isn't anything special lol

Are you sure? He doesn't need 3 full years?

IMO you will be lucky if will finish in top 4. Let alone winning the league.
Chelsea, City and United are better than Arsenal and then there are 3-4 good team like Liverpool, WHU, Leicester and Tottenham which can make some noise during the season and finish above you.

Arsenal's results are going to be very interesting to follow. Chelsea and the 2 mancs have upgraded far more than anyone else in the league. 2nd in the prem last year could turn into out of CL next year (as it will most likely for Leicester and Spurs too). I think Leicester certainly woke the giants.

And last season you'd have taken any bet that you finished above Leicester City.

Apparently, Chelsea are most interested. I look forward to Mezzy becoming a Chelsea fan again. :D

Guardiola don't call Tourè, Mangala, Nasri, Bony for tonight game.
They are probably on sale.

Tourè could be very usefull for a lot of team in Premier and elsewhere.

The problem is that their wages are too high for most teams, so they'll be hard to give away.
