It continues to be shameful for me when we continue with this route of players and coaches.

He didn't bring in Art Briles. Briles was there to visit with TWill. They interviewed Williams yesterday and he explained that Briles visits several players in camp every year. He was in Cleveland last week visiting Griffin. Also Briles visited Williams last year at camp too. This wasn't a Jerry invite at all. He also didn't not address the team, only visited with Williams.

The Cowboys were the 5th camp he's visited this preseason. The only legitimate news was ol' Art actually talked to the leering press. Short of that, there really isn't much to see here.

Yea I was listening to that interview today too on the Ticket. There's no doubt that Jerry believes that but if he had it all to do over again I don't see that he would do anything different. The only thing I think he would do different would be the way he let Landry go.

I try to avoid listening to any Jerrah interviews as they usually devolve into Jerrah word babble that drives me insane and even though it was the Hardline and I know Rhyner will keep him somewhat honest, yesterday wasn't all that different. And - I know what Jimmy says about it not making any difference because he was ready to leave.

But... if Jimmy would have stayed and Jerry would have let him be and kept managing the team as he did... I still say they would have won 4 straight. Maybe 5. They would have left a legacy no one would touch.

Don't know how much of the game I will watch tomorrow night as my grandson has his first scrimmage also. DVR will roll which is probably best for the first preseason game. I expect I'll watch it Sunday.

Yea I'll likely do the same thing. House will be full of kids this weekend so even if I did want to watch it live it will be too loud.

Game Time tomorrow night.
LA Rams are favored to win by 5 points.
I just hope for a good showing by the Boys and one that many guys step up and make plays.

Agreed. Would like to see one or two kids on defense (Collins; Tapper; Irving) contribute and am interested in seeing Jones at WR.

And - of course the QB's.

Collins isn't playing is he? I'm looking forward to seeing Anthony Brown, Irving, and Tapper on defense. I'm also really interested in seeing how Andy Jones does in a live game.

I'd forgotten he was out. My bad. I'm with you on Jones though. I'd like to see what I've read translate to the field. Wouldn't mind seeing this relationship between Swaim and Prescott also.

Yea I definitely want to see if Dak and Swaim are developing chemistry on the field. I really think Swaim makes the team if he has a good preseason. Or if Escobar is traded.

This is what our whole season will be like. Quick scores by the offense, then defense get shredded. Back and forth. Expect a lot of high scoring games that lead us to 8-8.

Terrible tackling on that scoring play by the Rams.

The good news - Dak looked poised and decisive. Wasn't late on his throws. Swaim should have caught his throw. Morris looks terrific.

Doing my best not to get too excited but Dak looks impressive. He's getting the ball out quick and throwing the ball hard. Although did put really nice touch on the screen passes. Also he's putting the ball perfect for Dez to go up and use his hands.

Darius Jackson looking good too

If I'm McFadden... I'm packing my bags. Jackson is a cheaper, younger alternative.

I've been saying since the draft that I don't think DMC makes the team. They should try to trade him for at least a 7th.

Gotta get him healthy first. And I don't see anyone trading for his current contract. I'm guessing he gets cut and signed to a pro rated veteran contract Week 2. Nothing more than business.
