Funny you say that, because I went completely different and have ESaL slightly ahead of Coolio and Fats as my top teams

I was just going by which starting lineups I liked the most (and not even necessarily the best). Gatz starting unit is very similar to what I was going to go for and Yosemiteben has two of my all time favorite players (Lebron + Reggie). I really have no idea at this point how Id rank the teams.

No need to explain, everyone should feel free to say that I have the best team.

I just found it interesting that personal preferences give us completely different tastes in teams

fats, is it possible to get each team capsule in the same (or sequential) posts, so we don't have to search around for them and risk missing one? Perhaps list them according to draft order? Also, is this going to be open to gen pop voting?

Yeah, definitely. I'll make a single post with everyone's recaps so that we can have them all in one place.

As far as voting goes, I think we should definitely include you, JDR and Braggins in the voting since the 3 of you have followed the draft throughout and it gives us 3 impartial voters. I'd be wary of including voting to everyone that didn't take the time to read all the rules, categories and follow voting, and simply look at player names, not taking into account the years of those players - like Tim Duncan and Chris Paul as rookies or Bill Walton as a half injured Clipper. Maybe if anyone else is interested in voting, then can let us know and we'll make sure they are up-to-speed on the process.

can maybe ask the player comp. board if some of those guys want to vote.

Tim Duncan had arguably one of his best seasons as a rookie! Don't try to tout that as a negative. What other rookies have been first team All-NBA?

Fats said to have capsules by Thursday. Should we wait until end of day today for BTG then move on to questions and whatever else to get team info?

Sounds like a plan. I'll put together capsules tonight or tomorrow and then we'll start some Q&A.

STARTERS

All of my starters were all-star

Isiah Thomas 1983-84
All-NBA First Team
4 RPG, 11.1 APG, 2.5 SPG, 21.3 PPG
Mitch Richmond 1993-94
All-NBA Second Team
3.7 RPG, 4 APG, 1.3 SPG, 23.4 PPG (0.407 3P%)
Scottie Pippen 1995-96
All-NBA First Team, NBA All-Defensive First Team
6.4 RPG, 5.9 APG, 1.7 SPG, 19.4 PPG (0.374 3p%)
Draymond Green 2015-16
All-NBA Second Team, NBA All-Defensive First Team
9.5 RPG, 7.4 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.4 BPG, 14 PPG (0.388 3p%)
Dave Cowens 1977-78
14 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.3 SPG, 18.6 PPG

BENCH

Damian Lillard 2012-13
Rookie of The Year
3.1 RPG, 6.5 APG, 0.9 SPG, 19 PPG (0.368 3p% on 6.1 attempts)
John Salmons 2007-08
4.3 RPG, 2.6 APG, 1.1 SPG, 12.5 PPG
Rick Barry 1977-78
5.5 RPG, 5.4 APG, 1.9 SPG, 23.1 PPG
Bobby Jones 1982-83
NBA Sixth Man of The Year, NBA All-Defensive First Team
4.6 RPG, 1.9 APG, 1.1 SPG, 1.2 BPG, 9.0 PPG
Bill Walton 1982-83
9.8 RPG, 3.6 APG, 1.0 SPG, 3.6 BPG, 14.1 PPG

DEPTH

Kurt Rambis 1988-89
9.4 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.3 SPG, 11.1 PPG
Vladimir Radmanovic 2007-8
3.3 RPG, 1.9 APG, 0.7 SPG, 8.4 PPG (0.406 3p%)
Jaren Jackson 1997-98
2.6 RPG, 1.9 APG, 07 SPG, 8.8 PPG (0.377 3p%)

My team doesn't have a dominant player like MJ, KAJ, Magic, Lebron , or Shaq (yeah yeah i know, except Rick Barry lol). That's not a weakness, that's more a strength in my opinion. Every player on my starting line up knows their role within the team (most of them weren't a first option on their teams), no stat-padder on my team, no defensive liability on my starting lineups, i have all around players at 3 position (SF, PF, C) and they (Pippen, Green, and Cowens) were very versatile to defend almost any position.

On offense you'll see a lot of fast break because even my Center could run like a gazelle, you'll see a lot of ball movement because every player on my team was a willing passer, you'll see a lot of slashing and 3 pointer because of the free space made by my frontcourt players (Green with his 3p and Cowens with his outside jumper). In crunch time i can rely on Isiah Thomas or Richmond, both of them are clutch.

Lillard will play as a scoring guard off the bench, while Barry will be the point forward, I also could use Bill Walton if i need some minutes of better rim protection and low post scoring. Bobby Jones, Kurt Rambis and John Salmons will provide some minutes of hard nose defense, rebounding, and hustling. Radz and Jackson will rarely see some minutes of play except i need more 3p threat to spread the floor.

Last thing to be said is when you have 2 or more ball-dominant players on your starting 5, that's are recipe of disaster. It may look good on paper or on your fantasy team, but in reality, it just won't work.

Sorry for the delay, i had a lot of things to be done these last few days.

Oh and pls stop pointing at Bill Walton, he is my bench big. It's not like he will play heavy minutes on my team. :nonono:
