Are the streams that good? Not that you would know or id need to know since we both pay for the games we watch.

There are usually two streams per game with super high upvotes (I have league pass, but for some reason forgot this fact when I was around for the Utah Summer League). Hypothetically, they are worlds more reliable and slightly better quality than the alleged streams of flowing water over the last 5-6 years.

Allegedly, there are always multiple 1080P and even 4k streams for pretty much every game, allegedly. However, I have always found participating in such grotesque acts reprehensible at best, so I continue to pay for a whole cable package just for one channel.

I did BallStreams last year & it got shut down lol.

They got me good.

I;m buying League pass this year. They stepped up their quality last year. Hopefully it continues to improve. I don't really care of the price if I can watch a whole C's season in HD.

Keep in mind that all C's games are streamed online on CSNNE and you just need a login for someone with a cable package with CSN. So if you don't mind being a freeloader and know someone (my brother in my situation), you can watch all the games there.

Problem this year is we're on national tv 22 times. All of those will be blacked out on League Pass.

Isn't it still not HD?

I'll be out riding fences again myself.

Yeah see that's their issue. I just realized I might not buy league pass lol.

Me personally, (I'm in the NY market), so I get all the BK/NY games in HD. So I got those 6 games (2xs we play NYK on national tv) + the national & NBA tv games, I got 34 games in HD without league pass. I didn't even realize that lol. Maybe I won't do league pass then.

Say I watch 65-70 of the 82 games being realistic. 34 on national tv. Maybe just stream the other 30+ i'll watch? Instead of paying the $200.

Hey man, just saw you were in here, not sure but I may splurge and get a ticket to the Sixers/OKC season opener, didn't know if you would be around. Let me know if you are, don't know if I'm going yet but trying to save some cash for good seats again.

Yep, it's a tough call. I may go the other way and scrap cable and do slingtv or something for the national games. Though, that's not HD. Bars always work, but no guarantee they'll have the Cs on out west.

Want to know what the NBA needs to do for League Pass? They need to create a 3rd audio option where it's just the court and ambient noise. Of course, I will listen to Mike and Tommy for every Celtics game, but when I'm watching 2 other teams, I'd prefer to just watch the game rather than listen to awful announcers.

When I was watching Olympic basketball on the Canadian station, the announcer only talked once a minute and I really enjoyed not having to listen to anything other than the ball bouncing, sneakers squeaking, players talking on defense, and the crowd noise. It was pretty cool.

Lmao. We have Mike here in the states.

What's up with the Raptors color (I think it's the color, might be mixing them up) commentator, man? I'm accustomed to bad commentary as an NBA and Patriots fan, but that dude makes me question reality. I start to wonder whether a holographic universe is truly possible listening to him. He seems to communicate in some sort of quantum entanglement of boredom. He makes me want to cut myself.

Is he a robot from the future designed to kill us with boredom through his poor understanding of the human race? Dude is full on uncanny valley. **** is crazy, man. Maybe he isn't even real.

So **** bad. Raptors fans here are largely awful but God bless them for somehow surviving that man.

Yeah, their whole team is awful. Matt Devlin is the commentator, and he comes up with the corniest catch phrases. Whenever a Raptor hits a 3, he'll say "All the way from Nunavut!!!". It's like Mike Gorman saying "All the way from Manchester!!" His voice also doesn't match the game either. "LOWRY FOR 3!!!! AND THE RAPTORS CUT THE LEAD DOWN TO 16!!!".

And then there's this:

As for his color guys - yeah, they're not much better. You got Leo Rautins, who's claim to fame is carrying Kareem Abdul-Jabar's bags when he was a rookie for the Lakers. Not very smart. Almost ruined Canada's basketball program with lousy coaching.

And then you got Jack Armstrong. Imagine Tommy Heinsohn, but without the HOF career as a player or coach and the knowledge that comes with those things......yeah, that's Jack Armstrong. Just an old man complaining about the lack of calls.

Wow, I though Phil Pressey had more pride than to sign with the Dubs. Talk about a stacked team now.
