Part of the issue has been the danger. Should leagues look the other way while players must decide whether to harm their bodies or harm their careers? The league looks bad because they're making money while pretending to be ignorant. If it was all above board and monitored in such a way that dangerous PEDs were still banned (and, hopefully, actually discouraged) I don't think I'd have any issue with PEDs. People already know to judge players in the era of widespread PED use against other players of that era. Every era's different.

I mean I am a WWE fan, Most of them use some kind of enhancements, But the hard stuff has been banned for a while now, mostly because it caused a superstar to go nuts and kill his family in a roid rage. Those should be banned. But some of the these hormone injections, enzyme treatments, artificial supplements, and other enhancers don't necessarily hurt anyone. The need to do research into these things and ask will it hurt someone, if yes ban it, if no let it be free to use.

Everyone in every sport uses performance enhancing drugs of some kind. The issue is when they use those that are illegal according to that sport. These things change almost constantly.

I would use PED, GED, and DVD or any other substance to get to that big NBA money.

Literally, the juice would be worth the squeeze.

Performance enhancers are subjectively banned and you cannot convince me that they each have the same deleterious effects on everyone. Also, as far as leveling the playing field I wouldn't give a rip about being a "cheat" if it paid my kids' private school vs me being like I am today--pretty piss poor.

I think there are players who are enlisting the services of very savvy doctors who know what cycle of drugs, what creams to use, what to inject and how to mask the agents so players don't test positive. I think the richer players know how to do this reasonably safely.

I think there's a lot of PED use in the NBA.

I'm like you, except I would pay big money to be the one injecting the steroids. Imagine getting to inject testosterone right into wall's butt cheek.... Yum!
