What is your best offer for Joey Bosa

Last case scenario for the Chargers, but what is your best offer for Joey Bosa at this point?

If I'm a team that is struggling and needs more than one hole in my roster filled, I say you dangle a (presumably high) second rounder and see if they bite. Contingent on who much promise he shows, flip him to a team within the AFC West for something better or more picks than the one second rounder you spent. The Chargers are a team that should be pretty easy to screw over and this would do just that.
If I'm a good team, I don't know if I can offer much. I need production this year as I am theoretically in a push for the Super Bowl. Maybe I pair a second or third round pick with a depth player and hope he can be a contributor by the last half of the season.
Both these are total low ball offers compared to his potential and draft position, but the Chargers have to feel desperate at this point. They are not in a position to be blowing first round draft picks.

I'd offer the 75% signing bonus up front along with offset language included.

I think he's talking about what a team would trade for him, but the Chargers simply need to get this deal done before the next game. Spanos needs to realize he is costing his team with these types of things. The money shouldn't matter to him. Get it over with. On another note, their defense was impressive last night, and I know it's preseason, but against the Cardinals starters they were impressive and AZ is one of the better teams in the league.

Also, it would be great to see you post or start threads on the Chargers forum. I'd like to have some Chargers discussion there. I've seen Chargers fans all over these forums but it's been tough to get going.

To be honest, I don't know a ton about the Chargers. They're just a team you don't hear a ton about for whatever reason. What is their depth like at DE? I mean I'm assuming that it's not great since they took one with the third pick in the draft, but do you think that they would stick him right in there from the get go (assuming they reach a deal any time soon), even after missing training camp and most of the season?

I think if I'm the Niners I offer up a second rounder plus a conditional pick that could go as high as a 3rd rounder if he meets certain incentives and as low as a 5th if he doesn't. Seeing as most think we're gonna suck this year, that might be a decent offer...

Do you really think there's much of a chance he never puts on a Chargers uni? For some reason I have a very hard time seeing it.

Oh yeah, he has no choice. I am guessing he signs before next preseason game.

My offer on Bosa is the same as before the draft. Take your partying ass, get out of town, and be someone else's problem and nightmare.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think Bosa can be traded because the deadline to trade unsigned draft picks passed before Aug 10th.

Chargers defense looked good, Brandon Flowers looked good on the INT after a horrific season last year. Chargers defense has been inconsistent for so long since the prime Shawne Merriman days so hard to get a good read on it. And yes I'll start posting in the Chargers forum once the reg season takes off, right now I figured this board will probably be more active since it's still pre season.

If he doesn't sign, he doesn't get fined right? It's only guys who are under contract that get fined. Really, if he figures that he will still be drafted highly, I can see him thinking highly enough of himself to try for next year. I don't think that he will be picked in the first round if he does that though.
