For me personally after 7pm pacific time would work on most days.

That would definitely work for me. Might be a bit late if we have anyone on the east coast, but mostly could get done between 10 and 11 for them.

I'm down depending on draft time. I likely will lose if it's a non standard league as I've only done standard... I have done some of those leagues where you buy players for a value and have to field a lineup which I guess is similar, but no draft - more like a market management game.

I too like the 7pm pacific start time, but I suspect that might be late for most on the east coast - I can go earlier most days. I also won't be available Wednesday the 7th although probably it will be long done by then.

I've never done a non standard league either but I'm down to try it for the first time.

And yea I realized 7pm pacific might be late for people on the east coast. I can do pretty much anytime during the day if we do it during the weekend. Or on Tuesdays I can do it anytime after 4:30 pacific time. Most fantasy drafts occur after the 3rd pre season game to be careful injury wise so we have time.

I believe there are 7 or 8 spots spoken for, still waiting on a few email addresses though to get them in. We're shooting for 10, so there's still room for you if you want in man.

i am ten hours ahead of pst so for me before 2pm pacific works best. although i do realize that might be an unreasonable time frame for most.

I love having the defensive players. It always makes it more fun to me

Maybe cause I've been in a league for 6-7 years on yahoo that always has had a dl (includes linebackers) and db so I'm used to it...never played with this many, but should be fun..give it a chance cactus

It seems to be filling up, so with two and a half weeks, really three outside of one game, we will likely get more interest and can do a second league. For the Suns forum, I ended up going with team D due to one request. It made it a little less fun for me and enjoyed the IDP leagues I was in better. I truly think that once players do IDP they will appreciate it more. But maybe Cactus Jack likes team D more because Seattle was the best team D for years.

One note of advice for those who haven't done it though. A few years back, I picked up like Richard Sherman one year and he got me few points due to being a shut down corner. Better to get guys who get tons of tackles or interceptions.

Good to know. Does Espn do mocks with IDP setup? I'd like to get a feel for what round certain players come off the board.

ESPN has the best draft IMHO. I already have 25 teams drafted which is the max. I also have been playing in the pig skin pick em for 3 years now vs. the spread. Mostly NFC east guys from the old espn and Sportshoola forums. If interested I can give you the password to get in. its very competitive.

Not that I know of, but the defensive players typically don't go until the last few rounds except for a guy like JJ Watt who might go early. I don't take any of them until the very end because their stats don't typically differ THAT greatly. There are usually about 10 guys at each position at least that do well. Though last year I picked up some 49er that got like 15 tackles a week. I think he retired and he was only like a second year guy. I think he retired because of concussions even though I don't know if he ever got one but may have given a few.

You can join the pigskin pick em league here too. There are league details in the link in my sig, or you can just click here and the password is basketball. It's just for realgm users though. http://games.espn.com/nfl-pigskin-pickem/2016/en/group?groupID=101036

I couldn't find an IDP mock on espn, but I found a mock draft that was already done. JJ Watt went 53 and the next guy was Lavonte David at 89 and Reshad Jones at 94. Khalil Mack then at 98 and NaVorro Bowman at 104.

http://athlonsports.com/fantasy/2016-fantasy-football-idp-mock-draft

Oh wait, and Kuechly went 54. The guy writing analysis thought that was too high for them though. His rational is that they won't produce as many points as other guys in the range but I think the more important thing is how much more do they produce than the next best guy at the position? During an ESPN draft, you will get to see their points from last year. You could also join a real one just for fun and to test it. I usually do. Last year I think I had 4 on espn.
