I know guys that went to San Francisco for the 2010 World Series who were genuinely afraid inside the parking lot and as they entered the stadium. Sounds like a lot of stupidity that was every bit the equal of Philly. And as everyone knows - entering an Iggles game as an opposing fan is its own nightmare.
You just may not make it to the hospital in time if you go to a Egals game wearing the opposing team's apparel. Hell, they even gave a standing ovation when they thought Michael Irvin was paralyzed. One year they even beamed Santa Claus with anything they could throw at him. How the heck can anyone do that to good ole Santa when kids are at the game and watching on t.v. Egals are the scumbags and easily the toilet bowl of the east coast.
I went to Cowboys/Redskins at RFK in 1995. Best time I've ever had at a game. Skins fans are great and a lot of fun. But even they won't go to Philly and if they do they remain quiet. I had plenty of them tell me that in 1995. There are a lot of places I'd love to go see the Cowboys play. But Philly and San Francisco aren't anywhere on my list.
