Your most bold predictions for this season

Post#1 » by bleu » Wed Aug 24, 2016 5:01 am

I love hearing bold predictions, and they're always a good way to start up conversation and get some controversy stirring. So let's hear some of your most bold predictions for this season.

I'll start, and probably add more later

David Johnson will finish top 3 in rushing yards. I expect a monster year from David Johnson. Last year he progressively got better throughout the season, and the more carries he got, the better he looked. I expect he takes quite a few of the carries from Chris Johnson. If he stays healthy, I fully expect him to wind up in the top 3, likely behind Doug Martin and Todd Gurley.

Josh Norman doesn't take a step back this year. I know I've posted this quite a few times already on this board, and many people disagree with me. But I believe that Josh Norman is a very, very good cornerback and not just a product of a system. He's going to have a lot to prove this year, but I don't think he takes a step back at all. He will remain one of the top CB's in the league.

The Denver Broncos miss the playoffs. The Broncos lost a lot this offseason. Losing Makik Jackson, Danny Trevathan, CJ Anderson, and of course, Peyton Manning/Brock Osweiler is going to really sting. Aside from that, they simply do not have a playoff QB on their roster. A lot of people are forgetting how absolutely dreadful Mark Sanchez was his last few years, and he's not going to take them there, nor is Paxton Lynch.

come on,now? thats not really bold.

the Bold part is that since they wont take a spot this year and not even a wild Card...The Jaguars will take that wildcard spot
because even the Patriots wont make the playoffs.

its not really bold saying a team with no offense will do poorly.
Trent Dilfer and Jay Cutler are Better QBs then what Denver has now.

I believe I made my bold statements on another thread a short time ago. Nevertheless, I like the Kansas City Chiefs to win the AFC west and Make the AFC Championship game. I also am predicting the Minnesota Vikings to make the NFC championship game. My sleeper pick is still the Jacksonville Jaguars. Barring injuries, I'll stick to these bold predictions. P.S. My Cowboys will be a top 3 offense this year. Who the hell knows, we may just get lucky and win in spite of cancer Jerry Jones. Its not like we don't have talent.

Packers go 13-3, Rodgers wins the MVP and the Packers win it all.

You are correct, my bad. Not sure why I was under the impression that he had left.

I agree with you about the Broncos but I think neither Lynch nor Sanchez is their current projected week 1 starting QB...its Trevor Siemian.

I think the year the Patriots miss the playoffs is the year that the Browns win the super bowl.

JJ Watt gets 20 sacks despite missing the first two games.

Jadeveon Clowney plays more than 8 games.

My predict : Watt might get 10 sacks at best.
The team will do one of two things.
Look like gang busters the first 8 games only losing a couple and then drop off completely.
Or they pretty much suck from day one.

Nobody has made one about the AFC North, so here goes. The Bengals have a worse regular season but make the playoffs and manage to finally win a game.

Is this a bold prediction or just something football fans have seen coming for over 2 years and Cowboy fans have been shielding their eyes from its inevitability?
