Yeah, I'd do Russell/Clarkson/Ingram/Deng/Mozgov. Plenty of spacing.

Few points.

Deng became good after Miami played smallball and he moved to the 4.
Ingram became good at Duke after Jefferson got injured and he moved to the 4 for duke in a small ball lineup with Plumlee.

Ingram is in no way or shape ready to play smallball 4 now, however, that could be his future position. Unlike Durant, Ingram doesn't move as fluid as 3s should .....

However, I fully agree that Ingram most likely will be a bench player in the beginning of the season.

On paper, most people have it: Russ, JC, Deng, Randle and Mozgov. However, I would bet one of them won't start on opening day...

it shouldn't matter who starts, as long as there's progression in our younguns' games by season end, i'd be happy

Looking at what Clarkson is working on I believe that could really happen. His concentration has been on handle and range.

Clarkson
Russell
Deng
Randle
Mozgov

Let Ingram be the first of the bench and let him progress slowly in minutes and up his usage and pressure as the season progresses.

Not sure where to post this, but the Lakers signed two forwards for training camp.

Not sure why they would do that when we are already loaded up front. We need a SG and another SF.
