You've always been a Suns fan then? San Diego Clippers?

Yes, always a Suns fan. Had a poster of Paul Westphal, Walter Davis, Ronnie Lee, Don Buse, Truck Robinson and Gar Heard in my room as a kid.

As a kid watched the Chargers and the Air Coryell offense with Fouts before the Cards moved to Phx from St Louis. When they moved, I pulled for them as much as I could, but never was totally vested. Become a bigger fan over the years. Loved Kurt Warner for the Rams because I love high powered offenses, especially in the air, and then when he went to Cards it was fun. Big fan of Arians, but they never supplanted my Chargers fandom. Moved to San Diego for a couple of years and lived right by Qualcomm 2005-6.

I couldn't care less who cares about the Chargers. I'll care. I am underdog type of guy either. I've never wanted to bandwagon to the popular team to claim I'm a fan of a team people care about. I'm loyal to the team I grew up with years ago and that will never change.

I couldn't care less who cares about the Chargers. I'll care

the nfl cares how many people care. If not enough people care about the Chargers, theyll move them or cut them all together. Your loyalism is unimportant.

I've never wanted to bandwagon to the popular team to claim I'm a fan of a team people care about. I'm loyal to the team I grew up with years ago and that will never change.

you know why the nfl is worth billions? because the majority of fans are bandwagon fans. They would actually make less if everyone felt the need to live and die with the same team. Bandwagon fans are actually more important to the league than you are.
if you want to stick with a team that never wins,go for it! Life is boring that way for me. Why should I purposely depress myself with a team that doesnt know or care I exist and doesnt win?
sports is entertainment. I'm a loyal Rams fan too but not in the sense I waste time paying attention while they suck lol.
when the Rams start winning again, I'll pay attention and get back to them because I demand only joy in my life outside of reality that is bad enough.

come to the dark side. Stop wasting your time with a team that will never win the big stuff!
on the bright side, theres usually hotter chicks in the stands in S.D.

Let him cheer for whoever he wants!
Spoiler:
He's actually a closet Cardinals fan (Now that they're good)

I get your point. Listen, I love the Hawks. But, I also know that a lot of that love is directly correlated to the team's recent success. I haven't missed many games, since Pete Carroll took over. But, I was also a fan, long before. It also doesn't hurt that I live in the area.

He didn't buy anything. Don't see the issue.

Don't come back to Dallas.

I'm all for legalization, but that's a bad look from a rookie even if he didn't buy anything

And don't worry I won't

We've had a bad look since Jerry bought the team and the first line of business was firing Tom Landry. Since he became GM we have had nothing but a revolving door of women beaters, underwear thieves, partying thugs, drunk driving and killing team mates and players that can't find anything else to do on their off time except hangout at strip clubs, etc. Where the hell have you been?

Nothing haha I just hate the city. It's probably a great town but this is a smack talk thread...obviously I hated it there cause I got called at 4 am in March by my boss saying pack up we're going to Dallas for a few months to a year so I left behind my girl and my dog...but still right after that I had to go to San Antonio and I enjoyed it more than Dallas. It seemed harder to get to know people in Dallas than San an but I bet it would be the same going from another city to Houston

But really i just hate Dallas cause of Houston sports

Jerry bought the team, and for no other reason than a Herschel Walker trade that was terribly lopsided, it allowed them to stack their team and dominate for a five or six years in the early to mid 90s. Since then they have been mostly mediocre and been to the playoffs only 5 out of 16 years.

When you are good year in and year out for 20 years, that's good ownership and management. The Herschel Walker trade (which never would have happened if Tex didn't get Walker in the first place) gave them a step up on the rest of the league for 5-6 years, and since then they miss the playoffs more than they make it. More than twice as much as they make it in the last 16 years. That's mediocre ownership and management.

Yes but that was Jimmy that performed that magic. And don't forget the draft choices set up by Landry before he got the boot that also gave them the position to draft Irvin and Aikman. Can't quite remember off hand, but I think one of those draft choices was set up when Landry shipped Dorsett off to Denver.

That's one of the main reasons why the Rams left town and went to St. Louis for 20 years.

Shouldn't you guys wait to pay a trophy duster till you actually win something? We've always been the measuring stick and set the standard when it comes to football in Texas and in the NFC east for decades now. Saying we suck really doesn't help your cause in even trying to get a small piece of what we already have. Keep it up with that line of thinking and you might lose your team again.

Don't get your panties in a ruffle just yet. This is going to turn out to be a blessing in disguise I have a feeling. I believe I saw a thread from you the other day mentioning all 3 of your ram QB's would start and play this upcoming season. You know the old saying, when you have 2 or 3 QB's, you actually have none. I believe it was Bill Parcells that made that statement.

Ahhhh back to the we won a long time ago

So rockets are better than Mavericks because we have more championships

Cowboys are a joke now, a complete and total joke. Y'all haven't won anything since the Texans have been in the league? So you got nothing bro. Texans are a better team and last year had far and away the least players with arrests on record Cowboys would probably sign a convicted hit man
