They never laughed at us for signing Pau because well, we never signed Pau outside of an extension.

I'd give us a D/F as well.

Yeah, outside of the Warriors signing Durant, I give them an F as well.

Are you trying to compare KD to Clarkson?

This post makes zero sense at all.

Clarkson
Luke
Ingram/Zubac
Draft Picks

were the only good things about this summer.

We still have

two 30 year old declining players for four years on big money contracts
still have zero defense on the perimeter
still have nick young on the roster
ruined our cap space for the future

Signing washed up players and blowing our cap for the future is not ideal

Grade = D

My point was that you literally discredited all of the good things the Lakers did this off-season when giving them a grade. I figured that was a bit more apparent.

Love that that was your take-away from all that. I'm sure there were a ton of contractual things we had to sign, as well as Pau. If you must have it that way........"got Pau".

There.....the universe is back in it's rightful alignment. Nobody laughed when we 'got' Pau. Point still stands.

I don't much care for the Mozgov signing (have I made that clear yet??) and I'm a little curious about our scitzo nature with all these big-men. We go get a coach who wants to play fast-up-tempo lots of shots, and then give him 50 centers and PF's this offseason. If you wanna call Deng a 'spread the floor' type player (is he?) then thats really the only FA we got that fits the bill. The rest are all slow big-men with little-no outside shooting.

But there were some good moves. I do agree, that we did really well drafting. Resigning Clarkson was big. Deng very well may fit in nicely. We do need some veterans.....and the price went up league-wide. Can't blame the FO for that.

Don't play Deng and Mozgov too much.....and I think there were several great things done this offseason.
