Worst title fight (in terms of how you would rank guys in their division) since when?

Without thinking too hard, probably something involving Tim Sylvia. But even then, he was a top HW in the UFC, there just happened to be like 10 guys better outside the promotion.
It's funny, because even if there have been worse challengers (I'm not sure there have), I don't know if there's been a champ who inspires less confidence.

My god that KO. I don't think I ever noticed that he forearmed him in the face with his full weight behind it on the way down. I always thought the follow-up was just a punch with the power of his arm behind it.
LOL @ how inside he got on that punch, he steps past Bisping.

Perry should be headlining. Another ko for him.
It still hasn't sunk in that Bisping is champion, and I don't think it ever will.

I kind of hope Perry is dominant in the fight but loses a decision. Then he can know what it feels like to be robbed for a change.
(I'll see myself out.)

Going for Bisping here. Both in terms of who I want and think will win.

IIRC Rogan was going on and on about how Bisping was circling in the wrong direction, always towards Hendo's power. And then, Kablooey.

Re: UFC 204 (10/8): Bisping vs. Henderson II (England)
Updated the OP with the card as it stands now.
Good lord this event is dog ****.
Arguably the worst title fight in the Zuffa era, no less than 3 guys on the main card I wouldn't recognize on the street, and I think a few guys on the prelims had records like 0-0, 1-0. And Reza Medadi.
I 100% want Hendo to win now, just because it would be so stupid.

Re: UFC 204 (10/8): Bisping vs. Henderson II (England)
LOL they put Belfort as the co-main event in case Hendo gets injured. Belfort at least is still relevant, but it's another revenge fight for Bisping, as TRTBelfort destroyed his eye.

I wouldn't watch this card if it was free on fs1.

Re: UFC 204 (10/8): Bisping vs. Henderson II (England)
It just needs Bisping to get hurt so we can have Belfort vs. Henderson IV for the interim belt. Which Henderson wins, and then retires.

Re: UFC 204 (10/8): Bisping vs. Henderson II (England)
Tumenov is for real
OSP is for real
Santos, maybe?
I never want to see Struve fight again but there are always 3+ fighters on any given card with that same effect
I am super excited for Bisping vs Hendo, I really am. I am OK with it even being for the belt. Whatever. What a story, it is. They each have merit, morally-speaking or whatever, as legends of the sport (Bisping is a legend, if largely for his perseverance and work ethic). The two top guys have both lost, neither has a claim to be fighting again immediately for the belt. Bisping won it on short notice with one **** eye, after spending a career fighting juiced up cheaters (one consequence of which is his eye).
His total time with a claim on the belt is like 1 week pre-Rockhold fight and now like 4 months later he's defending. How many injury cancellations would Weidman have had this year? Bisping is not wasting away the belt's reign, there's that.
It's an exciting style match-up too, with an insane amount of drama. Bisping has to keep sticking that jab in there assertively somehow not allowing fear of that overhand getting in his way.

You make some decent points. This would be a top 5 fightpass card of all time, for sure.

Re: UFC 204 (10/8): Bisping vs. Henderson II (England)
I think Bisping gets payback and knocks Dan out. That being said, it would be nice to see Dan retire with the belt and finally complete the elusive trio (Pride, Strikeforce, UFC).
