I get this giving Kerrsed grief shtick, but do people seriously think he'd fix it?! Come on...

To remove ANY doubt we should just use the fantasy toolbox:

http://fftoolbox.scout.com/draft_order_generator.cfm

Put everyone's email addresses into it, hit the button and BAM, everyone gets an email with a random draft order at the exact same time...

no-one is super cereal. it's a joke. i'd prefer not to give my email to some rand old looking site.

(i feel like we said the exact same thing this time last year, kerrsed took the liberty of recording himself doing it and then everyone was like "lol overkill")

Its been this way ever since I complained about it a couple years back. I mean Kerrsed gets more top 3 picks than the freakin Sixers... even when we used that generator last year.

It really doesn't matter where you draft. For example, I drafted a lot better from the 9 spot two years ago than I did in the 5 spot last year. I'm okay with however the draft order is decided... in fact I now think the draft should be rigged every year in order to emulate the NBA.

It doesn't really matter to me. I think the first round is pretty deep, and that Curry and Durant will bring each other's stats down a little bit other than maybe FG%.

You've still got

Westbrook
Harden
Davis
LeBron
Cousins
George

I'm probably forgetting a couple in the top tier, but then at the bottom you get two quick picks and then there are probably 8-10 players in the second tier, and another drop off, so the first 5-6 picks won't likely get a 2nd pick in that tier. I haven't looked at this closely though.

I'm putting out a draft 'cheat sheet' this year through The Fantasy Fix, which will be The $5 Fix.

HEAPS of stats, all the rankings, per-36 stats, starter/reserve splits, pre-post All Star, DFS stats from last season, summer league stats...

Still working on finalising it and how/where it's going to be sold, but for those who are interested let me know!

Gonna miss you in the league. Are you ever planning to play again in the future?

I would probably be interested in this, although I don't know how you guys run it. I've never played fantasy basketball before but I think I could figure it out.

Go to this thread viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1409534#start_here

and click on one of the links to the leagues. The Premier and CBA outline the rules and then you can see how the draft is done. It's funny because there is a lot of people smack talking to others about their picks.

If you want to see the funniest thread ever on these forums, look at this draft. You HAVE to read all the way until jdiddy picks LeBron.

It's 6 pages in viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1345288 You can start with post 28 if you want which is when the first pick is made. Also keep in mind the time that goes by and the date of each post until he makes the pick.

Oh man, I still feel bad for Jdiddy, he was so confused.

Doesn't stop it being the funniest thread I've ever read though

Also note I will not be hosting a h2h league again for an indefinite length of time. If someone wants to do their own and use the H2H league name that's completely fine.

Maybe we could replace this league with the keeper league?

A keeper h2h league? I am not a huge fan of keepers, especially not a lot of keepers. I'm not really a fan of auction drafts either but if you WERE to do a keeper league that would be the fair way to do it so everyone could bid what they want for who they want. If you have a high pick and get a superstar young player, you would be gold for a keeper league. If it was a snake draft, it would have to be 2 keepers so it would be somewhat fair...MAYBE 4.

Auction is a great way to start a dynasty.

We are allowed to keep a maximum of $100 worth of players, and that comes off your draft budget. So if you can nab even a serviceable player for $1-$2 it's gravy.

For my $100 I get to keep Russ, Millsap, CP3, Dieng, Crowder and Jokic - did some really sneaky trades to get CP3 as he was really cheap. The last 3 guys I keep at $1!

TASTIC, if you want to start a thread for Premier, go for it. I asked Kerrsed a few days ago via PM, but he must not be interested, and I haven't seen him post here in weeks.

Been lurking more not then often. Totally in for CBA again. I'm pretty sure Boogie Monster only shows up come fantasy time. He played the other year too.

If he doesn't, I'll take the promotion to D League no probs

I'm willing to play other leagues, too. I understand the concept of dynasty league. Is there a difference to keepers league ?

Keeper is usually like 3-4 keepers and then the rest are redrafted. Dynasties are more like you keep every single player you draft in the first year every year after that. Or at least most of them. TASTIC knows more about this and actually writes articles on it on some website I think.
