Agreed, I will admit I was looking at Miller as a late 2nd or early 3rd. I can't justify taking him as early as others have him. Over Leveon Bell? Jamaal Charles? Davonta Freeman? Dez? Gronk? AJ Green? Some even projecting him over AP?

I realize their is high potential, but A LOT of questions. I am even afraid of how high Hopkins is going.

I agree, he is a tier below those guys, but definitely ahead of someone like Zeke or Lacy, especially in PPR.

I got him in the third last year in a PPR so I think he is probably late 1st or early 2nd from what I've seen.

Yes....way ahead of Lacy. Zeke is another one who is overrated. Give me Gronk before Zeke.

Miller comes out pretty high in my numbers, as a late 1st. Not over most of the guys you listed, though.

Killed this 1st draft I think. 10 team standard league. Went rb heavy, first 4 rounds. WR next 5 and then rounded out the team. I was 6....

David Johnson, LBell, LMurray, MForte.

ACooper, RCobb, JLandry, TBenjamin, Josh Gordon.

Tyrod Taylor, Ebron, Tanehill, Dwayne Allen, GB, Graham Gano.

It's a pretty casual league obviously.
I needs shades for this future thing we owning..... 8-) 8-) 8-)

Alright I'm in a keeper league where you get a keeper in rounds 1-3,4-10 and 11-17. The player you keep counts as that rounds pick. I am for sure keeping Julio Jones as my 2nd round pick and Todd Gurley as my 4th round pick. Where I'm unsure is my round 10-17 keeper. I'm deciding between these 3 players. Kelvin Benjamin in round 11, Josh Gordon in round 17 or Dion Lewis in round 17. I was gonna go Lewis but with his injury am leaning more towards the other 2. Who would you keep?

Benjamin, Gordon could be permenetly banned at any time given his history. Keeping him is too boom/bust given the option of Benjamin.

12th pick in draft tonight.

I always predict who they will take based on preference. My feeling is it goes like this:

1.) Antonio Brown
2.) Julio Jones
3.) ODB
4.) Gurley
5.) David Johnson
6.) DeAndre Hopkins
7.) Ezekial Elliott
8.) A. Rodgers
9.) AP
10.) Cam
11.) Lamar Miller

If this goes the way I plan (and yes I know at least two QBs will go early) do I go:

Two of the three RBs (Jamaal Charles, AP, Leveon Bell)

or one of the backs with AJ Green

or one of the backs with Gronk

*non-ppr and the roster is set at:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 WR/RB
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF

I really wanted to go with two of the backs but that leaves me so thin at WR.

First draft over.

15 team PPR had 14th pick.
Have to start :
1 qb
2 RB
3 WR/TE
1 TE
1 K
1 D

1. Jamaal Charles
2. Allen Robinson
3. Fitzgerald
4. Erick Decker
5. Jeremy Hill
6. Jordan Mathews
7. Theo Ridick
8. Jason Witten
9. Tyler Eifert
10. Carson Palmer
11. Bruce Ellington
12. Jermaine Kearse
13. Sean Draughn
14. Spencer Ware
15. Andre Ellington
16 Pitt
17 Justin Tucker

Not bad considering I was targeting AJ green in first round but he went 13th. Don't like the charles pick but at least got his backup.

I love picks 1,2, and 5...also that you got Ware for your cuff. I would also keep an eye on Charcandrick West if Charles goes down.

I had pick 12, the player with pick 3 offered it to me and I accepted.

3.) ODB
22.) Jordy
27.) Mike Evans
46.) DeMarco Murray
51.) Jeremy Hill
70.) Jeremy Langford
75.) Giovanni Bernard
94.) DeAngelo Williams
99.) Derrick Henry
118.) Ameer Abdullah
123.) Gary Barnidge
142.) Jameis Winston
147.) Kirk Cousins
166.) Justin Tucker
171.) Vikings DEF

The first three picks I just missed the guy I REALLY wanted by one pick.

Julio Jones, Leveon Bell, and Amari Cooper

That would have been one helluva team, but I will settle for my team. Very unconventional. The first time I ever drafted three WRs right off the bat, so I went heavy on RB for the rest of the draft.

Non-ppr, roster has 2 RB/2WR/1 flex WR or RB

Not a bad draft. I like the Cincy backfield. If one gets hurt, you have an absolute stud. Same with Deangelo. This was a weird year. Lots of average RB's left in later rounds in the two drafts.. I regret taking Charles early in both my drafts... should have went Stud WR's with the first 2/3 picks. One team had the 1st pick took Antonio Brown, then Hilton, Then maclin... still ended up with PPR RB's in Duke Johnson, Woodhead, Deangelo, and Shane Vereen in a 15 team league that starts 3 WRs.

Yeah I really didn't think everyone would go RBack so early. Usually the guys I draft with just go by rankings and the new fads. They shocked me....by doing that though they let Mike Evans and Jordy fall to me. The guy who drafted 4th took Leveon Bell before I could while already having Gurley. He assumed a wr he wanted would come back to him.....I took two and the guys after me took one a piece and a rb. So the rest of the draft those who went rb/rb spent the rest of the time fighting over the scraps of wrs while I took all the rbs I had in my 2nd and 3rd tier. One guy was like, "Can you stop drafting rbs now?" right before I took my sleepers of Henry and Abdullah. I also pissed off the guy who took Bell right before me by taking D'Angelo Williams right before he planned to do so.

Is it me or are the RB rankings really slanted towards one year wonders or rookies? Obviously you have guys like David Johnson, Elliot, Freeman and Gurley who are all young but haven't proven much except for one year and Elliot hasn't proven anything. AP is really the only vet RB ranked high. Just trying to figure out my RB strategy for auction and I don't know what to do at RB. Probably will load up on WR again.

That has been my point. Ezekial Elliott in the 1st? David Johnson is sometimes going #1 overall? I have been burned too many times on guys like that. With ODB, Jordy, and Mike Evans I know if (big if) they stay healthy I have three guys who will perform for about 1,300-1,400 yards and 10-14 TDs a piece. I can figure out RBs between the rest of the guys I got later.

Last year I went early on RB with Jamaal Charles/CJ Anderson and struggled with WR play all year with guys like J. Matthews and Brandin Cooks who are still going in the 3rd and 4th round this year. As CJ Anderson struggled and Jamaal Charles got hurt, I picked up David Johnson and Spencer Ware/Charcandrick West but still struggled finding good #1 WRs.

Went pretty risky with the idea that I wanted to try and acquire value...David Johnson was my keeper, half point ppr with bonuses for every 100 yards

QB - Luck
RB - Leveon, David Johnson, J. Hill, Stewart, Deangelo, Dion Lewis (love this guy as a sleeper if you can afford to stash him)
WR - Watkins, Keenan Allen, Josh Gordon, Jordan Mathews, Desean Jackson
TE - Eifert

I have a couple of fodder pieces I will drop for a back up QB and TE, but feel pretty pretty good about the team. Strategy was to try and to immediately get my two stud RB in place with my first round and keeper, and next immediately take the two best WR available. Then just draft for value as much as possible the rest of the way.

Lots of question marks with Bell, Gordon, Luck, Eifert, Mathrews and Lewis, but tons of upside too.

If you follow Charles Woodson on FB or Twitter.

He had his first fantasy football draft. His first round pick was DeSean Jackson.

Love that team......no clue how you got Gurley, Allen Robinson, Jordy, and Amari

Gurley should be the 6th pick at worst in PPR

Allen Robinson should be the 12th pick at worst

Amari and Jordy should be the 20-25th at worst

Good value there!

12 team league; PPR. Very competitive league just FYI..

I had 10th pick out of 12:

1. AJ Green
2. Jordy Nelson
3. Brandin Cooks
4. Drew Brees
5. Duke Johnson
6. Jeremy Langford
7. TJ Yeldon
8. Tyler Lockett
9. Chris Ivory
10. Broncos Defense
11. Charles Clay
12. Darren Sproles
13. Deandre Washington
14. Jared Cook
15. Graham Gano
16. Jameis Winston

I couldn't get a RB to fall my way to save my life after round 2 and I didn't want to reach for 1 so I just kept taking "BPA" or atleast who I thought was "BPA". Pick I hate the most is probably Brees in the 4th. Total impulse pick and I was running out of time trying to make up my mind. Didn't really pass on anyone to overwhelming for Brees but I just don't like the value there. The Brees/Cooks hookup blinded me and sucked me in lol. Love my 4 WRs and 'like' my potential with RBs, hoping Yeldon breaks out and 1 of Duke or Langford becomes a viable RB2. Tight end is just a bad year. I got snaked for Kelce like 3 picks before my turn in the 5th round and just decided to wait awhile after that. He was the last TE I liked to get drafted early. Hoping 1 of Cook and Clay becomes consistently a 10pt average per week I guess isn't a huge stretch but neither has been consistent at all in the past so we will see.

I need help setting a roster though...

Do I bench Jordy week 1 and see how he does or just throw him out there? I like Lockett a lot this year so I still have 3 good WRs if I bench Jordy, just a thought?

Clay or Cook?

Pick 2 of Yeldon, Duke and Langford? I have Yeldon and Duke in there as of now. Bears open up vs Houston, don't really like that matchup for Langford and think he likely struggles. Duke and Yeldon will both likely be involved a lot in the passing game.

QB - Drew Brees
RB - Duke Johnson
RB - TJ Yeldon
WR - AJ Green
WR - Jordy Nelson
TE - Charles Clay
Flex - Brandin Cooks
Def - Broncos
K - Gano

Main subs; Langford, Ivory, Lockett, Cook, Jameis.

Thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts.

I actually like what you did with the WR's. People get bent on taking a RB, but if there isn't one listed on your board in the area of where you are drafting, continue to go BP available. The brees pick isn't bad considering you have high upside guys like duke, langford, yeldon. Heck Ivory was a beast last year, so he may overtake yeldon at some point. For TE, I'd be a total homer and play Cook week one.
