Mike Davis vs The San Diego Chargers (Preseason)

So one of these running backs looks like he deserves to be on the bench in the last preseason game

Gotta admit Davis's spin move earlier was almost Barry Sandersish.

Kaep's afro mullet must be distracting the defense.

Wow, no one is commenting on the game tonight? I am stuck in Seattle with only the Seahawk game on so I was really hoping to get some color on the game from the good folks on this board.

I'm surprised no one is here, but I think people ignore the 4th game.

This may be the best I've seen kaepernick look since the superbowl run. He doesn't look panicked.

Maybe I can catch the game on replay but watching the ESPN play by play is driving me nuts.

McCray might be cut. Hope he stays out of the division when he resigns with another team.

Beautiful INT by Robinson, he looked like a WR getting that

I can't knock Trent's ability to find DBs. I suffered enough through the Jason Webster & Mighty Mouse era.

Rush now has 6 sacks and an interception in the preseason. Granted there are circumstances around the 6 (and the other pressures) that make it look slightly better than it's been IMO, but I think he's probably made the team.

Packing for vacation, but I've been watching on and off. Some thoughts:

I don't see how Rush doesn't make it. Two sacks, an INT (granted he didn't do anything special), and generating consistent pressure.

Davis looked strong again. I'm not sold on Harris. He's too eager to break it outside. He's probably our fastest RB, but I can't see him making it. Taylor is showing some nice vision, granted awfully late.

Hamm had some nice plays, could stick on the PS. Bruce Miller finally showed up in a preseason game, but I still think he's on the bubble. He's just not a fit for the offense.

WRs are a mess. Burbridge and Anderson had a couple plays, but how do you separate these guys out? And where in the world is Smelter? Does he go to IR?

On D, Blair showed up again. Robinson did well. The DL was hot and cold, but had some moments. Wilhoite missed two or three tackles badly, and McCray had some nice hits, but also some whiffs.

We're thin at the position anyway, to start the season. And he's just played circles around Lemonier. Lemonier is a decent STs player, but certainly nothing special.

One of the biggest positives tonight? No overtime when it looked like it could be going that way.

I'm out of town and DVR'd the game. Maybe I'll watch it. Gotta love what Rush is doing. Will be interesting to see if he gets any regular season snaps.

Lemonier has been around long enough that we know he will never amount to anything. I would much rather keep Rush

Hopefully. He is someone that could have value as a situational pass rusher.

PFF graded him the top edge rusher in the preseason but he was terrible against the run so if he's on the field it'll be in the pin the ears back and rush the passer situations until he learns to set the edge better.

Thats right. Physically, he is undersized. That might be why he is vulnerable against the run

He was playing against scrubs..Totally meaningless..I'm pretty sure he would have been cut this week if it wasn't for the anthem sillyness.
