4th - Olsen or Decker? I don't know Olsen but I do have a bunch of sleeper WR picks. I was thinking TE's don't have a huge discrepancy in points scored, but in a 20 team keeper, it might be tough to find a good one.

olsen unlikely to have a season like last year. he was pretty much the only solid receiving option panthers had most of the last year and gobbled up all the targets, now they have two other huge targets. benjamin's back and funchess coming on to his own and should play a larger role.

since you are not winning this year try to gauge who would hold more value in your league for trades.

My draft strategy would be to build toward the end of the season and the future. Find your value in guys like Deangelo Williams, Alfred Morris or James Starks that are an injury away from becoming your RB1. Also look at the rookie class. If you can land Ezekiel Elliot, take him. If you end up with a pick to waste, give Breshad Perriman of my Ravens a look. He's a first round talent that nobody has heard of or they've forgotten about him, but he saw his first action last night. His skill set is tailored to play WR for Joe Flacco and I don't have a whole lot of faith in aging Steve Smith, Mike Wallace or our ICU mess of TEs.
To summarize: Handcuffs and Rookies.

Oh yeah, if somehow Elliott slips to 5 I'll take him, but I can't imagine he will. I also like young guys like Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett. This is such a deep league that I imagine I'll have to look at rookies or 2nd year players that many don't know much about yet.

Keep an eye on Tyler Boyd of Cincinnati and Willie Sneed of N.O.for great late round picks.

Definitely like Willie but will have to check out Tyler.

Mavin Jones and Sanu are gone. the guys they brought in are not working out so well and they are really high on this kid. Plus Eifert is out the first 4 weeks. He should get ample opportunities. I have him in about 70% of the league's I've already drafted in. I think I have 53 teams this year.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I know, before when he mentioned he had drafted 41 teams so far I was thinking "that's crazy". I remember back when I was REALLY into it I would do like 8 and thought I was being ridiculous. I got tired of it for a while about 5 years ago and took a year or two off.

Then I decided to just make the leagues different and more challenging with IDP, 2 QBs, additional rb/wrs, etc which has made it more fun.

Depending on how your draft goes and how you draft, the flex position has brought more stategy to it.

Horrid defense? What horrid defense? It was the offense that sucked last year and they weren't consistently blown out. You have no idea what's coming.
And KC won't get near an SB either. If you can cancel that bet, do it now.

No way I keep a kicker. They are a dime a dozen. I can get a guy like Lambo who can hit 50 yarders with ease and SD will have to score a lot to stay in games....and they have always had red zone problems and McCoy unfortunately always kicks field goals on like 4th and goal on the 1.

The objective is points, is it not?
Vin is the ultimate winner.
Luck is going to carry that team to many TDs and be in the Red zone a lot. That's how I look at it.
Kickers are not a dime a dozen. The Rams kicker will get less chances. The Detroit kicker will get less chances etc. The better the team, the more points for the kicker. Losing out on a good kicker because you are wasting time trying to find that non existent 9th string Stud receiver that doesn't exist,is silly.
.....that was redundant lol

what horrid defense? Every time they go out of their own candy assed division, they more often than not get embarrassed. Actually they sucked and suck on both sides of the ball last year. I'll bet you another $500.00 barring injuries of course, Kansas City goes much farther in the AFC than the Dolts. Wow. By the way, have you ever been blue papered?

Even as a Panthers fan, I don't expect Olsen to do nearly as much as he did last season. He will still be a very solid player and he'll do what the Panthers need him to do, but with Benjamin returning he won't be the #1 guy like he was last year, and I think he will do more blocking this season.

um...Luck and the team have been winners since he got there. They own their division aside from last year.
theyve been to a conf Championship.

I doubt many teams keep kickers, so I can draft one earlier than usual which is usually with my final pick. Since it's a 20 team league waiting until the very end might not be good, but kickers go at least 15 deep where they don't have a wide range of difference in points. Not nearly as much as other positional players. You don't play fantasy much, do you?

OK, I still haven't submitted. After looking at some rankings, I can't decide.

Definitely

AJ Green
Olsen (ranked 3-6)

Then two of Decker, Jones or Seattle's D

Decker is around 21 WR
Jones mid 20s RB
Seattle's D - #1

The weird thing is I always lean RBs, but,

I would have originally never though of keeping a D, but Seattle being ranked #1 it seems silly not to keep them
I don't even do Team D leagues anymore so that was kind of an afterthought at first

I didn't realize Decker was that high

Oh, and Matthew Berry has Vinatieri ranked as the 16th best kicker  The other two guys had him at 7 and 8

So I think I've probably gotta go:

AJ Green
Olsen
Seattle D

Decker

But then RB as a whole is such a shallow position....really only 7-8 premier ones, 10 good ones, and then everyone else ranges from meh to hoping they get the most carries from a running back by committee group.

So many sleeper receivers that we've mentioned. Besides the ones already named, I also like Travis Benjamin being a deep threat for Rivers...he had 966 yards and 5 tds on a Browns team with Josh McCown or Manziel at QB and Cleveland rarely scores a lot. Now he plays with Rivers. That's an enormous upgrade. He could get like 1200/8

So with the RB position being thin, Jones seems more logical even though he is slightly lower ranked than Decker.

I started this post thinking Decker but think I just convinced myself Jones.

I think I pretty much HAVE to keep Seattle D over Decker than don't you think with so many sleeper WRs out there.

Thoughts?

Green, Olsen, Seattle, Decker

imo - go RB heavy in your draft.

Good point, no doubt go with Jones instead of Decker. The other 3 are definite keepers like you said.
