I think the Spurs fall short of the WCF for the 3rd consecutive year. I don't think Gasol/Aldridge works together, the have a huge hole at point guard, and I prefer the clippers to the spurs in a 7 game series. Though injuries could certainly derail the clippers again.

It's so hard to say right now. We haven't even played a preseason game yet.
I went with over 7.5. The defense might be a little weaker without Timmy but I feel like our offense is going to be much better this year.

This is a tough one to predict; there are so many question marks across the conference, and with the Ws wading into potentially-uncharted waters, much is up in the air.
It was pretty obvious that Timmy was dealing with ailments in the last third of the season (and on into the playoffs) that really limited him, because for the first 50 games or so, his defense was outstanding; that's one of those things that doesn't always show in the numbers, and I think we're going to miss it hugely. I don't mind what Gasol brings to the team, but some of his best abilities will be muted by our shift back to a frontcourt-first team, and it's questionable in my mind how much he'll have at the end of the season.
I expect Kawhi to continue his ascent, but besides him, Green is the only other major rotation player with upside-- the upside to hopefully revert to the Green of two years ago. LMA is who he is and he's not going to evolve anymore, and as much as I hate to acknowledge it, we all know about Tony. Outside of those guys, the bench is good-but-not-great and I think Diaw's departure hurts more than the numbers let on.
None of what's happened is surprising. KD's move was such an unprecedented power shift; it eliminated one of the conferences powerhouses, but it did so at the expense of giving the bay-area Hydra another head, and it left the conferences remaining contenders to pick up scraps. I know that sounds highly negative, but I'm a realist, and barring a major injury situation in GS, the rest of us are playing for the honor of being the last team the Ws beat on their way back to the Finals. I think this is the year the Clips put it together enough to finally make the conference finals.

I would think this is an over, they get out of the first round in 5, and the second round is going 6-7 and depending on matchups, could get to the conference finals. I would say tey are favorites over LAC regardles of home court in the 2nd round.
Still have no clue how SA didnt get younger in the frontcourt, last year it was apparent the athleticism in the frontcourt was troublesome.
