Braves will attend Tim Tebow tryout

Twenty major league teams will reportedly scout former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow during his tryout next week in Los Angeles.

The Atlanta Braves have confirmed they will be among the teams in attendance. Would he be a good fit for Braves?

GROSS! The guy has not played baseball in over 10 yrs, since senior year in high school. The guy can't even stay in the NFL. As a Florida State fan, if the Braves signed him, I can no longer cheer for them. For the love of God, DO NOT SIGN THIS JACKASS.

Tebow is doing a decent job at staying in the media.
He has had his own tour as a public speaker, countless appearances on tv, rumored to get involved in politics, and now trying out for MLB teams.
Keep reaching, Tebow!
He could probably make a good income by selling his sperm to rich Christian's.

I dont think it actually matters if we sign him. the media will go crazy but he has basically 0 chance to get to the MLB, probably little to no chance to get above rookie ball unless they just want to sell tickets.

If he was 4 years younger, I'd be interested. 29 years old... I'd pass. But I don't have anything against him for trying. I'd do the same thing if I was him. The Orioles have a pitcher named Pat Connaughton who can throw 97 MPH, but he's holding onto his dream one more year to play in the NBA - he had a nice career at Notre Dame. I think the O's are a little... unhappy that he chose basketball over baseball, but they'll likely give him a chance if he finally gets cut this offseason. He'll be in his mid 20's in low A ball, but he's got a much better chance than Tebow.

That's how everybody feels that I know with the exception of one person.
That one person I know that wanted Tebow seems to just want anything to happen that will possibly help us. Tebow's still not it.
