Check this out and then click on premier league. Just follow the instructions in the league. You will be in the CBA league which will start last so you can always look at the other two drafts going on to see which players are going with each pick.

I know how the drafting part works, I participated in the RealGM Soccer Board Draft a couple of weeks ago.

My question is what happens after the draft? How do we decided who wins against who? Is it based on real world performances? Also what is the difference between the premier league and this one? Can I participate in both?

It's based on NBA players' real life performances.

You gotta set up your team lineup, and all of your active players' points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, FG%, FT% are registered to the fantasy league.

Each team gets points based on their ranking in each categorie, and at the end of the season the team with the highest score wins.

We play with 13 teams in a league in a rotisserie (roto) league in which there are 8 categories (pts, 3s, assts, rebounds, fg%, ft%, steals, blocks) and if you are top in that category you get 13 pts, and if you are the worst you get 1 pt. So you take the total of all your points in each category and that is your current score. As the season goes on, the standings for each category will change as one team pulls ahead or falls behind of a team or teams...and of course this happens for all categories, so the leaderboard is constantly changing.

So when you draft, you have to make sure you don't draft someone that is SO bad in one category he will hurt your team so much UNLESS he is SO good in a few others that it more than makes up for it. But even without studying rankings too much, you should be able to get a good idea of where people draft based on how the other drafts are going.

You can only play in CBA...all newcomers do. You have to move your way up to D by being a top 3 team in CBA, and then the following year, if you get to D, you have to finish in the top 3 to get there.

If you finish bottom 3 in premier you move down to D, and bottom 3 in D moved down to CBA.

Make sense?

I played in the H2H league last year. Wouldn't mind giving the CBA a shot this year if that's alright and there's free space.

Don't sign me up yet but I'm very interested. Love the soccer-style aspect of moving up/down between leagues depending on your record. Been wanting to do one of these epic message board drafts too. Just got to think about my time commitments.

You can set your lineups WAY ahead of time, for as long as you want, so really you probably just take 5 minutes once a week, and then if you see one of your players gets injured or something you may want to adjust, but it doesn't take too long.
