Roc Appreciation/Retirement Thread

Post#1 » by Snakebites » Mon Sep 5, 2016 11:35 pm

I am making this post to announce that roc, who has been a moderator on this forum for years now, has decided to scale back his role as a moderator on Realgm, and will be retiring as a Piston moderator.

While he came to moderating within the last few years, he has been an asset to this board as a poster for a decade now, and this forum would not be what it has been for the last 10 years without his presence as one of our best posters. He's been a buddy of mine on these forums for a good number of years now, and it was great being part of the same team with him. I know many of you on this forum have respect for and like him just as I do.

It is sad to see him go as a moderator, but it is my hope that he will continue to participate as a poster on this forum in the future. Please join me in thanking roc for the help he's given us! :)

Top notch mod and great poster. Sad to not have him in our corner anymore as a moderator. I'll have to start treading lightly from now on as he has gone to bat for me on multiple occasions.

Stick around roc and cower in the corner with the rest of us plebs! You had better keep posting!!

One of the best posters on this board. Can't speak to his moderation work, which is probably a credit to how well he did.

The mark of a good mod is we never really noticed him doing it!

Absolutely a great mod! We'll miss you in that role but hopefully you'll keep posting

I was thinking of quitting too, but RealGM just tripled my salary so I guess I'll stay :-)
