It's not funny, it's a tragedy, uncle pete is a completely horrible person. It's raw, brutal and depressing. It is very in your face at times, Louis isn't celebrating it he's just telling a story involving characters. Some are completely dispicable. If you hated that part you really would've hated the last episode

If they were attempting to make me hate them they succeeded, none of the guys seemed to have any redeeming qualities and it made hard to really connect with the show. that said maybe i will pick it up again and at least finish the first episode.

where can I find Horace and Pete? Is it still only available thru his personal website? is this Pete character more despicable than Frank from Shameless?

Yeah I think it is fats, or the usual torrents

I think he will eventually put it on Netflix, he was deliberately low key at first.

And yes uncle Pete is worse than frank, brilliantly played by Alan Alda.

Young Pete was the only main character who was a consistently good person. Horace was kind of a mixed bag. Some of the bar patrons were awesome.

Young Pete does have some, for what it's worth.

Apparently Seasons 1-4 of Homeland are now on Hulu. Highly recommended, great binge watching show.

I just watched Interstellar for the first time...

And it blew my mind. I always get a little overwhelmed by space and how it relates to quantum/theoretical physics, especially regarding the future development of mankind, so I don't know what combination it is of it being late, me zoning out, or the length/subject matter, but I probably won't sleep much tonight.

Too busy thinking about how space can be bent and time can be a physical dimension

^yeah, that was pretty good.

For the soccer/football fans out there, check out British comedy Rovers. It's like a sports message board played out in real life, it's great.

I've been binge watching Peaky Blinders and I'm going to be really sad when I run out of episodes. Phenomenal show.

Just finished watching Stranger Things. I liked it. My first observation about the show when I started it was that they kind of stole the theme music from the soundtrack of Only God Forgives.

Spoiler:
After just finishing the episode my gut says Russell was involved. The way Russell was acting when he and Gamby began their flag pole conversation was very suspicious (although that could be a red herring). I got a very cold and dark vibe from the assailant that makes me feel like it was Russell's doing (even if he wasn't necessarily the trigger man). Also, it makes more sense for the plot going forward if Brown is out of the picture (the "walk of shame" scene hints at this) and the main conflict is between Gamby and Russell.
